The host obviously has a beautiful home to offer, however I believe previous guest have taken advantage of this opportunity to damage most of the properties furnishing. Upon our arrival we noticed the previous guest left their personal belongings and food in the living spaces. The house cleaning crew did a poor job cleaning the house and so unfortunately we left after 1 night when we had booked 5 nights. Again, I believe the owner of the house was t aware of these conditions however it does make the review poor. In the meantime I hope the owner who was extremely kind and helpful gets a new team of staff to better manage his property that has potential for a great stay.

Nice get away in the heart of Palm Springs.

The home was very clean and stocked with a few essential items, and a large, fully enclosed backyard that our dogs really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good enough to enjoy the beautiful pool and spa. We will definitely stay there again simetime in tbe future.

Comfy beds and great pool. Master bathroom leaks, holes in flooring, broken kitchen drawer, no oven safe dishes to use for oven cooking, and no shade in the yard.

Comfortable and basic

4 of us stayed there for a girls weekend. The pictures were a bit deceiving. We had a lovely time and Stephen was really helpful, but the house needs a few cosmetic repairs.

Sisters meet once a year in Palm Springs!

We had a great 3 days. The place was comfortable and would stay again. Would have done the pool but it was a little cool. The beds were comfortable and felt like you were home instead of a hotel room. Easy access and owner was very reachable!

Older home

The home was ok however home is older and not repaired. Had some issues. Not enough sitting in living room. Was made aware from a food delivery driver that neighborhood was unsafe. They would not deliver to the address due to safety issues. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was clean and had lots of items to cook. Overall it was ok

Won't return to this house

For the cost this place was not worth the stay:-Hot tub not working-No paper towels-Master bathroom leaking and floor boards breaking and water underneath floor boards into the bedroom-Master bathroom it is very difficult to turn the shower on-Master bathroom towel hanger falling off the wall. -Master bedroom and bathroom have holes in the wall from door (no door stoppers)

Wonderful host and we had a great time!

The host was amazing and super responsive to any question really quickly. The house was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed both the house and the pool. The neighborhood is an older neighborhood, there were a couple of boarded up houses that we passed driving in, but don't let that scare you, the house itself was lovely. The neighborhood was really quiet. It's about a 10 minute drive to the Uptown and Downtown areas. The house could use some cosmetic repairs, there were a couple of dings in the floor, the master shower needs updated, the floorboards replaced. It would be great to get a 2nd umbrella for the back yard. But we were very comfortable and felt like we were at home. The kitchen was well stocked with basic supplies and great appliances, and the whole house is a great size. And two smart TVs. Full size washer and dryer in the garage. Thank you for a great stay!

This place has potential, but it really misses the mark of what a VRBO should be. It meets the bare minimum of what a rental unit is.Did not get any check in instructions, contact info provided in-app turned out to be the VRBO customer service line, so I waited to be let in by VRBO staff and eventually the owner contacted me. No further instructions inside the house besides the wifi code texted to me. As is noted both in other reviews, house has damage (shower hooks, hole in floor covered by rug, exposed electrical) and showers leak. Holes in curtains, trim falling off. Simple fixes could alleviate this, but despite past reviews and the guestbook in the house, they persist. Only a handful of the lightbulbs out back weren’t dead.The kicker is that despite the listing not mentioning it and saying no extra fees, the owner tried to shake me down (outside of VRBO) to heat the pool/hot tub for an extra 95/night.One last thing: I’m not convinced this place is safe for kids. Room with bunk beds not only has a ceiling fan that is in the space of the top bunk (kid could get whacked in the face), but the door to the pool area doesn’t lock and only has a bar that can be easily removed holding it closed. This place needs some renovation before being rented to be honest. It’s got some cute decor and it’s conveniently located, but for the price, I expected better.

Our experience at this home was a bit overall disappointing, but there were a few bright spots. It's clear the overall lack of maintenance and the history of problems from previous reviews and a physical guestbook show that the management hasn't bothered fixing the issues. We also arrived to the place uncleaned from the previous guests (which is an understandable mistake), but were only offered a small discount for the inconvenience.Pros:
Great Beds and Pillows
Fridge was modernPool was great after the pool cleaner arrived on our second day there and set heater to optimal settings.The host was attentive and responded quickly when we needed the place cleaned and some pool cleaning supplies.Cons:- Exterior was overgrown with weeds. Had trash / litter on sides/backyard.- Inside: broken drawers, bathroom hooks hanging by a thread, peeling door hangers, and paint chips/cracks throughout. The bedroom curtains were dirty and had holes.The showers leaked, causing water to pool on the floor, wasting our few towels to soak it. Some pieces of furniture from the photos were missing, or broken, including some chairs and the cornhole set.Pool: Instructions were unclear, using low-res photos in a confusing order. The heating was also expensive and heated slower than the host initially explained.This place provides the minimal things for a vacation home. If all you care about is a pool and a place to sleep, I can see it being viable. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a home where you only need to rest your head at night this house will do. Garage parking is a plus!Pool/spa charge- It is 95/day or 60 for the pool or 35 for the jacuzzi. There are NO instructions on how to turn on the heaters- I asked the host and received blurry pictures so we never got to use. The beds aren’t super soft but they’re not hard either. Found hair in bed!! At the beginning communication seemed to be okay but then the last two days communication was cut off on his end. The decor is cute, but a lot of it is broken, some things are stained, or is used to cover up problems. I feel like this home needs some loving before it hosts new people. From what we have noticed, there are a good amount of issues throughout the home that should be addressed: 1) there are no instructions to be found for the house/pool (rules/ how to’s, etc.)2) the water faucets throughout the house are on backwards (cold is hot, hot is cold) with a limit on the heat.3) some of the lights won’t turn on without turning on a switch by the front door (huh??). 4) there’s a crack/ the starting of a hole in the floor by the island in the kitchen. They moved the rug to cover it. 5) the master bedroom wall paper is coming off the wall. There’s a stain on the curtains. 6) burnt out lights in yard. 7) could not find a lighter for the fire pit. 8) could not use washing machine as there’s no soap.9) worst of all, master shower LEAKS & cannot use!Sad! Has potential.
