My name is Andrew Palmer. I’m looking forward to hosting you at Lackawanna Lodge in Leadville. I live in the Denver area and Lackawanna Lodge serves as my escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is also basecamp for many of my outdoor adventures. When I’m in Leadville, you’ll often find me on the hiking trails, mountain biking trails, or ski slopes. I’ve gotten to know the area very well and would be more than happy to help you pick out activities for your trip. Leadville has become my “happy place.” By the end of your trip, I’m sure it will be your happy place too.

Lackawanna Lodge is nestled in a mature pine forest north of Leadville, giving the property a remote "woodsy" setting. From the front porch, you can admire views of Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive, the two tallest mountains in Colorado. Though you may feel "out there," you will in fact be very close to town and other important destinations. Leadville is just a 5 minute drive away. Ski Cooper is 10 minutes away and Copper Mountain is 30 minutes away. The feeling of remoteness combined with the reality of close proximity to town and services make the property unique.
