Cozy Utah cabin off the Provo River at the gateway to the Uintas National Park. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin comes with fresh air, natural beauty of the river and mountain views, song birds, and peace. 20 minutes from all the Park City ski resorts and the Jordanelle lake resort. Fireplace inside and fire pit outdoors, with BBQ grill and large front and back yards.

This cabin was the perfect summer getaway for my family. It was clean, had all of the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom amenities for a super comfortable stay. It was close to many outdoor activities. My family is hoping to make this place an annual destination.

A very positive stay

It was a very positive place to stay and very close to where we needed to visit. The water stayed hot and the rooms were very cozy.

Cabin Getaway

We had a great time staying at the cabin. The living room and two main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We had plenty of room for eight of us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. The backyard was amazing. My granddaughter played on the swingset while we played cornhole and relaxed on the shady lawn. The yard backed to the river, but was fenced so I didn't have to worry about the babies but could still enjoy it. There didn't seem to be air conditioning, which isn't surprising for a cabin, but was listed as an amenity. It is close to hiking and lakes and all the outdoors activities you could want.

Disappointment

I just wanted to express how disappointed we are with our stay at this house. Here are some of the issues we experienced: Mouse in the house for three days, and nothing was done to solve it: We had a mouse in the house for three days straight. When we contacted the owner, they said they would contact animal services. However, nothing was done for three days to resolve the issue. Having mice in the house is a severe health hazard. They can spread several diseases, such as Hantavirus, Leptospirosis, Lymphocytic choriomeningitis, Plague, and Typhus. Last night, we saw it under the kitchen cabinet. Anything we use in the kitchen can be contaminated. We informed the owner about this issue, but they did not take it seriously. They even referred to it as "our rodent friend." This wild mouse is not a pet or my friend. It is freely moving around and can transmit many diseases. In the last message from the owner, they said they were sorry for the inconvenience and that pest services were unavailable. They could not even bring mouse traps to the house. This is not just an inconvenience; it is a life hazard. They did not take our complaint seriously at all. The first night, it was in our bedroom, so we had to sleep in the living room. The second night, it was in the kitchen and living room, so we had to close all the room doors and put blankets under them. We did not feel safe at all. Unfortunately, we had to stay in the area and could not find any other place. Otherwise, we would have

It is unfortunate Halis found a mouse in the house during his stay in the mountain cabin. His accusation that we did not take his concern serious is completely wrong. We contacted our pest control service company immediately the day I was contacted, and Halis was then told that the pest control company would not be able to service the house until Friday, which is the day after Halis was leaving. We value the comfort of our guests and are proud of our 5 star rating from previous guests. We apologized to Halis for this. It is important for him to recognize that this cabin is in the mountains and natural animals are to be expected. The probability that a common mountain mouse will cause a plague is significantly low. Unfortunately Halis did not clean the kitchen sink, nor turn on the washing machine to wash his dishes. Nor did he take the kitchen garbage out, which can contribute to a mouse wanting to stay in the house. We wish Halis and his family the best in his future.
