Ocean View Poolside Retreat

Enjoy sun-soaked tranquility in this resort-style haven atop Fire Mountain, Oceanside. Revel in a private oasis boasting a pool, jacuzzi, and a thrilling waterslide. With a stellar view of the beach and Carlsbad Lagoon, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat accommodates guests with a king bed, queen bed, two twin XL beds, and a pull-out bed from the couch. Elevate your stay with optional surfboard and bike rentals, along with entertainment from a dartboard and an arcade gaming table featuring over 400 classics. Must be 21+. Pool heating available for an extra charge. Pets with prior approval, $40 fee applies.

The Space:
Nestled at a cul-de-sac's end, this unique property offers unparalleled privacy. Accessible via a scenic uphill drive, the home unveils breathtaking ocean and lagoon views. A fully remodeled kitchen adds to the interior allure, while the backyard hosts a pool, jacuzzi, mini waterfall, and waterslide. Guests can rent bikes and surfboards for added beach fun.

Guest Access:
Enjoy exclusive access to the entire home, except for one reserved room above the garage. This suite, detached with a private entrance, is solely for the homeowner, homeowners may stay in this private suite as they please, but it won't affect your stay as it is a completely separate area of the home.

Other Important Details:

1) Pool/jacuzzi/backyard/firepit hours are restricted after 10 pm to comply with noise ordinances and maintain respectful noise levels inside and outside the property, especially during SD county noise ordinance hours (10 pm-9 am).

2) Pool heating is available for an additional fee of $60 per day for the entirety of your stay, $75 per day during winter months of Dec, Jan, Feb, March; 24-hour advance notice is required as it takes around 24 hours to heat.

3) All guests, even those not staying overnight, must be included in the reservation count.

The ocean view is amazing! The property is exactly as described; the pool, slide and grill setup make it feel like your own private tropical resort. The location is so convenient with quick access to Trader Joe's and takeout down the hill, only 10 minutes to world class restaurants downtown, and easy access to the freeway for sightseeing in San Diego or up to LA. We look forward to staying again!

Overall, the house is beautiful, clean and well kept. The front doors that open all the way up really add a lot to the overall ambience. It has easy access to freeways and tons of food and restaurants close by. The only downside is the owner lives on the property above the garage, which was not presented in the main info for the home. Apparently it is mentioned but you have to dig ( which I did but never found) Having the owner on a property you are renting takes away from privacy. Whether you think it does or not, it changes your vibe and the way you would act normally if they weren’t present. That being said, we never heard the owner or really saw them at all, just felt a bit misrepresented in the ad.

We absolutely loved the pool and the views from the house. Close to everything we needed in Carlsbad. Daniel was very responsive to messages and super helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was great. The hosts were amazing and my family really enjoyed all of the amenities. From hanging out by the pool to watching the sunset by the firepit, the house had so much to offer. Thank you, Daniel, for an amazing stay!

Perfect staycation

The house was perfect to just lounge around the pool and spend time with family and friends. The front patio view is amazing for a morning coffee or late night drink. Overall, great time.

A MUST STAY WHEN HOSTING FAMILY LOCAL TO THE SAN DIEGO AREA!4 starts for picture that represents the house because it is far better in person. The light switches are hard to figure out, but by day 3 of 7 I could remember what light switches were used best.Outstanding fine china and easy to use everyday dishes. They even have a vase to hold the downtown Carlsbad Wednesday farmers market flowers (2-8) that are the prettiest flowers you will ever see. No glass in the dishwasher, do not even try. Large sink to clean dishes by hand as a family, AND a well lit bright areas to develop core memories to last a lifetime. This is a must stay IF; you enjoy cleaning and taking care of a large house, hosting family BBQ/pool parties (have to be done by 10pm), and displaying fresh salads/ fruit for your loved ones. The host is the best person. I stayed 7 days, noticed some appliances needed maintenance and was there in 10min. You are able to request a private check-in and not to be contacted by host unless there is an emergency. Very well communication. BIGGEST THING IS TO WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS POSTED BY QR CODES BY SCANNING WITH phone camera AND LOCK ALL THE DOORS. Use the garage door and just 3-point backwards, you will have a better time, but watch your left side! Then, if it is locked or not in a Costco black and yellow box don’t touch it without contacting HOST.Be patient , slow down, relax, and ONLY let the kids go down the slide. Adults can, but it hurts your hips. -Alexi

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! The host is very responsive. Two tvs downstairs have apps you can log into if you have subscriptions. No cable. Master bedroom is upstairs, while other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. Lovely city/ocean view from the front patio.

Mother’s Day Relaxation

Great property for family of all ages, backyard with pool, hot tub, and slide with bbq and tv and fridge outside as well as air hockey, darts, games, golf and arcade games. Very quiet and secluded with a great views and still close to city. AC wasn’t able to keep up with no window shades or coverings on anything but the fans worked great. Will stay again when I’m back in town visiting family.

Our Perfect Getaway on Fire Mountain

What a gem! The views were incredible; morning coffee with lagoon sunrises and evening drinks during Pacific sunsets became our daily ritual.The pool area was our family's highlight. The waterfall pool, spa and slide kept everyone entertained for hours. After busy days, we appreciated the peaceful evenings in this quiet location.Even though we only stayed for three days, it was so deeply relaxing and recharging that it felt like we'd been away for an entire week. The stress just melted away.Everything we needed was just minutes away, but we stayed in to enjoy the air hockey battles and retro arcade games. So much fun!Our host was responsive and helpful, making our stay effortless. This place truly felt like our own private resort; we're already planning when we can return!

This was a great rental. We were a group of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids) and there was plenty of space to move around. The backyard and pool area was amazing. The kids loved the slide feature and there were tons of games to keep everyone entertained. There were plenty of beach supplies (chairs, sand toys, and mats) for use. The best part was the incredible view you get from the front patio/living room. We spent some nights taking in the sunset with the fire pit going. Dan was a great host. He was super communicative and made sure we had a nice private/comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place
