My family and i truly enjoyed our stay. The backyard was the highlight of our trip and the perfect gathering spot for fishing, swimming and star gazing.

The beds were comfortable and clean. It was a bit strange that there are no about curtains or blinds on the French doors in the master but since they face the water, I guess they were not needed. The windows were very dirty and we cleaned the ones in the living room to enjoy the view which is spectacular. We were hoping to use the pool but it was not heated. Overall, it is a nice rental and management company was very good and super attentive.

Over all a great property. The back yard is great for the entire family to hang out with a fenced yard for animals. It has everything you’ll need for a relaxing getaway

Relaxing

My best friend of 40+ years and I stayed at Going Coastal for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the calm serenity and peacefulness of the property. The house and pool were clean and inviting. We really liked seeing all the birds and even saw a dolphin! It was a great stay and we thank you!

Beautiful and calming view

You are immediately in awe of the view. The lake in front is very pretty. The pool was crystal clear, and so relaxing. There are several pool accessories in the big box, and that was a nice suprise.

Check in was weird paying an extra hundred dollars so I could check in early. Got there to check in. They were still cleaning the house. My family was putting her things in the house and the manager of the property showed up and said I didn’t know y’all had already checked in you’re early. Apparently there’s no communication within the system telling the property manager or the cleaning lady that we’re checking in early. The washer machine had black mold around the plastic rims. The stove top was cracked had problems with Internet connecting to. It was not real happy with those things. There was no trash bags had to go and buy trash bags for the house. We had a good stay fishing was good. The pool was nice. The view was great.

Great View

Water view from most windows, Miss Kitty was right there when we couldn’t figure out the thermostat, they are a good company. Pool is unheated, so didn’t use much, winter just isn’t warm enough. We would have rented next winter but already rented iNOTE blankets are there contrary to web site on

Going Coastal

Overall, I would give this property a solid B. The house was clean, the description was accurate, and there was plenty of room for our family to all stay comfortably. It felt more like a private hotel setting than a house, which is not a bad thing.This house is on the market and needs some minor repairs - slow draining sinks in bathrooms, no hot water at the kitchen sink, overhead stove vent disabled... minor things, but noticeable after a week's stay. We did report a couple of broken items to the management and they sent out contractor to look at those items immediately - Miss Kitty's was Johnny on the spot for any inquiries about the property.Overall, a relaxed time and a good experience.

The house is great, loved the pool and the pier. Our family dog loved it too. Nice fenced in area.Some minor things happened like the front lawn wasn’t mode so I called and next day early they had someone out there to cut it. Then the AC quit working. Called again and they had someone out there same day. Lawn guys accidentally weedeated the AC wires but was quickly fixed.I didn’t have toilet paper in master bedroom so went to buy that. Had one cheap roll of paper towels so bought that too. The place needs a new can opener the one there does not work. We could punch holes and cut with knife(luckily no injuries). The stove dials the numbers are gone so you have to guess what temp it’s set at. Rainstorm came and back porch roof had a couple leaks. Also be sure to bring your own pool towels because they don’t give you any extra.
