The host was very quick to help w/ the small problem we had and the communications were very good. I loved how the lights were all labeled!The house is solid and comfortable, but the kitchen could use some upgrading & the shower door was precarious. All & all a good stay though

Great stay for Harpers Ferry and hiking

House was clean and convenient, check-in process was simple (just around the corner). I was visiting Harpers Ferry, Sheperdstown and hiking in the area. This was the perfect location !!

New Christmas tradition

We were looking for a place to have a large family dinner that was close to our VA relations and this was perfect. A well equipped kitchen with plenty of room for a few visitors. Beds were comfy and house was clean.

Enjoyable stay.

The house had a lot of room and we enjoyed the stay. On the negative side the sofa wasn’t comfortable and it was hard to get up from it.

Rustic getaway

This cabin like home was the perfect getaway! Stayed here for a wine tour weekend in Louden County and loved finishing our days with a fire pit and hot tub! Would highly recommend, host was amazing too!

Our stay at Battlefield Inn

We had a wonderful family vacation, house was very nice and the grandkids and us loved the Hot Tub, great area!! Only downside , some of the furniture, like the couch need replaced, and there were no baking sheets to bake on, other then that is was fully stocked!

Enjoyable

Nice clean house with plenty of room. Good location. It was just my husband & I & our small dog but more people will easily fit with the nice size rooms, 2 big bathrooms, & several beds. Also good space outside with the porch & large yard. Enjoyed our stay here.

Inn at Harpers Ferry

House was amazing with plenty of space & amminities. The yard was very nice. Near local battle fields & shopping. the only con was it was next to the road where river riders took all their buses to get rafts so was noisy every morning.

Great Time

The property is set up perfectly for extended family: in-laws in the first-floor suite and family upstairs. Beds are comfortable, neat little amenities like heaters in both bathrooms and great water pressure. It’s clear to 340, so was a little noisy with windows open at night (who’d have thought I’d would be 77 degrees in November!), but the location is perfect for Charles Town, Harpers Ferry and Antietam. Loved the hot tub .. private and well-lit. Great little spot!

Sister’s weekend in Harper’s Ferry

Very comfortable and well stocked house with great amenities, that we enjoyed! Perfect location, just a few miles from Harper’s Ferry town, and many local wineries. Worked out perfectly for our sister’s weekend! All concerns were immediately taken care of by River Riders to make our stay worry free! Some yard & exterior of house needs a little more attention, but inside was very clean. We were very pleased with this rental and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great place!

We are from Canada and we chose this house as our home base for our son's wedding in Virginia. Although we were away much of the time, it served us well when we were there. The home is very spacious and located on a large lot. Maintenance was notified of a couple issues and they responded right away. The hot tub was a great hit with the kids!

We have been in the tourism industry since 1994 and the Battlefields Inn is our second vacation rental property. We also operate the Harpers Ferry Campgound. Because of our long history in the industry we understand the needs and desires of vistors to our area. Although we operate several other businesses, the vacation rentals are my primary focus personally so you will get the attention to detail you deserve.

We have totally refurbished this historical home to bring it up to modern standards. It is conveniently located near other Harpers Ferry attractions and our other vacation rental making it an easy combination for larger groups. The house has a huge yard and field out back which gives plenty of area for relaxing or playing. Every year in May we host the Harpers Ferry Half Marathon and kids fun run nearby. Snow Riders winter time snow tubing is convenient to the home.

The home has been beautifully restored while maintaining the historical character. We have 2 master bedrooms with king beds, one on the main floor that is handicap accessible. We also have an internet ready big screen tv, a hot tub on our covered back porch, gas fireplace in the living room, and a large front porch with rocking chairs for relaxing.
