A cozy and chic cabin tucked 1 mile up the mountain that borders the Shenandoah National Park and has private community river access on the Shenandoah (South Fork) River. Hilltop Hideaway Cabin is thoughtfully designed and furnished with inspiration taken from the surrounding nature and wildlife but has a modern twist.

Nestled five minutes up the mountain, surrounded by Oak Trees, Hilltop Hideaway Cabin is situated in a private, quite neighborhood that is relaxing. This property combines all that Shenandoah has to offer, the combination of relaxation with top end amenities.

Our place is both children and dog friendly, so we have made sure to include some necessary items like a high chair, pack and play, dog food bowls and bones! 25 minute drive to Luray Caverns, skyline drive/SNP entrance, Massanutten Resort and town of Harrisonburg.

Beautiful property, very relaxing. Had everything that we needed. The only caveat is that it is a little challenging to get to; driving up a steep unpaved road in our minivan was a little stressful.

We had an excellent time, this cabin was beautifully stocked, thoughtfully decorated and outfitted, and lastly, it its flexible to accommodate whatever vibe you want for your trip! We had a bladt and will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was obviously recently renovated, very clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed the picturesque views, hot tub, quiet setting, and the proximity to Shenandoah National Park. Also, Alexa was great about communicating with us and ensuring we had a happy stay. We highly recommend!

Dog Friendly

Very nice dog friendly cabin. Hot tub and gated deck made for a nice evening to grill out. Lots of room for additional friends/family.

Sweet spot!!

The cabin is perfect for a retreat from the hustle and bustle! It had everything we needed to relax for a few days with our pup. We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Slept like babies in the super soft bed and felt right at home with all the nice kitchen amenities. We cooked dinners and breakfasts and went exploring!

Perfect Moms Weekend Getaway

We rented the cabin for a book-club-getaway and had an amazing time. The host was wonderfully accommodating, the house was beautiful and wonderfully decorated, and we just really enjoyed ourselves. **if you’re going in the winter and it’s snowed at all — you’ll want 4wd or AWD, our only issue had nothing to do with the accommodations, just in getting one of our two vehicles up the hill

City Mice head to the mountains!

What an amazing way to bring in 2024 on a mountain in this chic, but cozy cabin with a few friends! Listing was exactly as described and the hosts were so kind and helpful the entire process. Only downside was having to come back to reality. 10/10 🍾

The Perfect Getaway!

I just want to thank Alexa again for such a wonderful getaway! Started as a one day, ended up two but it was definitely more than needed as our schedules have been very hectic lately. Everything was just so nice and cozy, the house was clean and fully stocked all around, the back patio was phenomenal (we cooked out both nights), and the views were just lovely! Everything was just perfect and we couldn’t be happier. We do plan on returning in the future and I highly recommend! (:

I have put a lot of effort and time making my cabin a 5 star getaway for families and friends. Every reservation I am honored and excited to host!

I have a thorough welcome guide with tips, suggestions, and nearby food and fun recommendations for guests to access as well as a QR code at the property to easily scan and log into the WiFi.

The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by nature, with two visible cabins on either side that are also rentals. You will feel secluded while still having other people nearby. This neighborhood also has a private river access for guests which is a great perk if looking to get on the river as many areas along the river are private property.

My cabin is unique because of my eye for detail and high standards I have as your host. What is important to my guests that I make sure to nail every time is that the cabin is extremely clean, the bedding and furniture are cozy, the kitchen is amenity rich and has everything you need, all while looking chic and beautifully designed!
