Great location. Loved the place. The lock for the gate is a little wonky. Upstairs neighbor/guest was EXTREMELY loud!

Clean, convenient location as this area very walkable, safe feeling area, and close to everything. Stayed 3 nights and was perfect for my wife and I. Loved actually having a place to park and a washer and dryer. Would stay again.

Sweet Stay in Savannah

We enjoyed this cute little historic space while we explored historic Savannah! It was so convenient to have parking we didn’t have to worry about, and the courtyard and other amenities were pretty adorable.

The rental was lovely. On the second evening we had upstairs guests who were very loud. We also attempted to use the gas grill and it was not working. We loved Savannah and the convenience of the location.

Savannah Canterbury Garden

We love Savannah and the location of the apartment was excellent. Yet, we were disappointed in the condition of the property, especially given that we had stayed in this apartment on a previous trip. It was obvious that the property has not been maintained over the years. The courtyard was untidy, the kitchen had bare essentials, and lighting was poor throughout. There was terrible TV reception. The couch felt like it had broken springs on one side. The gas grill is falling apart and had not been cleaned in a long time. The property could be lovely with a little attention.

Reason for not staying

We only stayed overnight and left the next morning before 10 . We cut the stay from 3days to 1 day. My husband and I both woke up stuffy and a slight headache. Must have been allergic to something in the apt.

Comfortable lodging, great location

The lodging is very comfortable and well stocked. Its location in the historical south district was very convenient for both visiting sites and restaurants. The internet was weak at times but not a major issue. Parking is in the alley behind the property. We did not need our car the entire visit. Be careful walking from the alley to the apartment. The walk is unlevel in places. My husband did fall. Lucky Savannah was very helpful. I recommend this property.

The kitchen faucet dripped the entire time, and the bathroom sink was slow to drain. The information for the codes was incorrect and I had to call to get correct code.

Comfortable, felt safe, Amenities were good. Pretty clean . The things that really matter were clean.Definitely has an old building odor but you go nose blind after awhile. Cute rental. We would stay again

Decent Stay But Could Use Improvements

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 9 night stay in Savannah was pleasant enough, though I doubt we'll choose this rental again. Focusing on the positive, the location of this property was near-ideal, very close (but not too close) to many restaurants, bars, stores and attractions. Everything seemed just a walk away! An assigned parking spot was essential and the spot was secure enough (gate code to enter the grounds, plus a door code to enter the apartment). We did have issues with the outside light not working, the front door not opening properly, and a light bulb out but Lucky Savannah was very responsive and fixed those things right away. Overall, the interior was clean but not to a professional standard, as we found out over time. Dead bugs, dirty utensils tucked into furniture cushions from previous occupants, stains on the floor, mold in the bathroom, and stained bedding (which we ended up cleaning ourselves). Because there is little to no ventilation (some windows painted shut), it is musty and doesn't smell clean. Appliances are all outdated, but functioned adequately. Kitchen utensils and cookware were old and lacking if you want to cook much. There is some overhead noise from occupants in the floor above. Finally, the wooden gate isn't the best quality (swells up in humidity) and can be difficult to open/close.

Great Savannah Location

The property is in a wonder neighborhood - close to everything. Can walk to all areas of historic Savannah. Bedroom bed very comfortable. Couch and couch pullout adequate. Things were tidy and prepped. Some things a bit old and floor was a bit dirty. Would recommend for a short stay.
