This place is adorable. Perfect location right on the Strawberry Creek trail. 4 minute walk to downtown. Our host was wonderful, she made the check in smooth and helped us with everything we needed. Quick response time!

The house was perfect, cozy, comfy and welcoming. Sitting my the fireplace with a glass of wine. enjoying good food in the kitchen and games in the dining room. The cabin was immaculate in every detail. And nice to walk to town. We didnt need a thing....the owners were so gracious as well.

Impeccably maintained 1922 Mountain Cottage with large fenced yard and a short walk to town. well- equipped, adults loved it, kids loved it, dog loved it.

The main cabin is genuinely rustic while the "granny" cabin is a bit more modern. Both if the cabins and the grounds were peaceful and enjoyable. We enjoyed the proximity to the town and nature surrounded us. Feeding the Stellar Jays, squirrels and chipmunks on the rear deck was a joy!

This place was magical. The owner was generous and kind. My three year old loved the kids bedroom. The upstairs loft has three twin beds, kids toys and books. This place would be ideal for multiple families or a large family. My family of 4 loved it and didnt want to leave.

Nice Location for visiting Idyllwild

First time trip to Idyllwild. Very convenient location for walking into town although the initial part is without sidewalks. It’s only about 5-10 minute walk. The house is ok. Exterior areas getting a little rough. First floor bed was comfortable.

Magical 100 year old cabin! Ladybug swarms in the afternoons, squirrels, Steller's Jay birds (big blue jays that love peanuts!) Beautiful grounds, tons of room inside and out. Kids loved the private path to creek.

A wonderful stay at Strawberry Corner

We came with my sister and her family and had a simply wonderful time. We fed the birds, enjoyed the hammock, played darts and ping pong, felt cozy and comfortable and loved walking to and from town and down to Strawberry Creek. Will definitely be back!

Strawberry Corner was Wonderful!

We all had such a wonderful time staying at Strawberry Corner! The location was close to town for walking to shops and restaurants, and the grounds were so beautiful and forested! The owners decorated this wonderful historic cabin for the holidays which made it so festive! Thank you for making this such a special spot for our family weekend getaway!

Strawberry Corner

Large corner fenced lot with charming decorative touches and a gazebo. Easy walk to town. The home is amazing with antiques and everything we needed for a relaxing happy get away. Really comfy king sized bed. Our little dog was safe on the deck and we could hear the creek when we sat there.

We love Idyllwild! Being in the real estate field as brokers, developers and investors for over 40 years, my husband and I know a choice property when we see it... and this is one! It took us all of five minutes to decide we had to own this treasure for our personal enjoyment. Now it's available as the ultimate Idyllwild vacation home! There is something about Strawberry Corner that brings back memories of a sweet life, of baking pies and sitting by the fire, of feeling a part of a little town. This home gives everyone a feeling of the 'way it used to be'.... it enchants, delights, relaxes and intrigues all visitors. It just feels like 'home sweet home'. Places like this are priceless and it is our great joy to have our guests experience the same feelings we have every time we open the antique wood door with the stained glass strawberry window! This house is perfect for those who want healing, restoration, romance, quality family time with the kids of all ages, peace and quiet, creativity, and personal renewal!

We purchased this home in 1998 when our daughter was three so we could have an authentic vacation lifestyle far from the busy cities or glitzy resorts. Idyllwild was clearly the best choice since it's within easy driving distance from the desert, San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. We loved the 'Norman Rockwell' small town feeling and the darling stores, crafting, hiking and great restaurants. It's so picturesque there! We feel safe and secure being so close to the village and were blessed to find a home that reflects the history of Idyllwild. It's been wonderful here and we would like to share the experience with others. We love being on the creek, which is a prime location in Idyllwild. We felt this home had it all! Location! Creek! Charm! Condition!

We love all the seasons! In the winter it's a WINTER WONDERLAND and the snow makes for a magic we rarely get to experience. SPRING brings out the colors and the green, SUMMER is divine with sunshine and warmth! and of course the FALL is enchanting with the leaves turning and a crispness to the air. Many guests have said it's the most romantic place they've been and we've had one proposal! Just sitting around relaxing and talking after a hike or stroll into the village is so great. I have to say it's really super for afternoon naps on the comfy couch too!
