I had another wonderful stay at Harbor County Cottages! This was my second time renting with Tim, and I stayed in the Black Barn Rear Cottage. So far, this has been my favorite cottage.The cottage was well-appointed, clean, and had such a cool, unique vibe. What really made this stay special were the views—the woods were visible from every room, creating such a serene and peaceful setting. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quiet time surrounded by nature.Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and seamless. Tim consistently provides a great experience, and the quality, atmosphere, and attention to detail make these cottages a place I would highly recommend. If you're considering staying here, I wouldn't hesitate to book it—you'll be glad you did! I'm already looking forward to our next visit.IreneOak Park, IL

Great property, great location.

Impressed with the cleanliness and location of the property. Walking distance from Seedz Brewery is a big bonus.

It was walkable to the lake, well stocked with supplies. The train runs close to the yard and is loud, the grill didn’t work, but the host sent a repairman, but he could not fix it we borrowed the grill from another property next store per host’s suggestion. No lamp shades on 2 lamps in the master bedroom. We felt these things should have been e been taken care of before we arrived. We still had a good time, but wouldn’t rebook again.

Nice Little Getaway Property

Nice house with lots of sleeping space, clean nice bathrooms and showers. Hot tub was great as well. While we didnt use the log fireplace, it was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend for a weekend stay!

House was fantastic! Stayed for a joint bachelor/bachelorette party and the girls stayed in one of the houses next door. Tim provided firewood and hot tub worked great! We all loved our stay and would highly recommend this spot

What a beautiful home in such a great location!! A little hard to find it would be nice to have an actual address sign visible from Red Arrow but we found it eventually! Such a spacious cozy comfy cottage obsessed with the decor and whole vibe!! Beds were awesome bathrooms big and spacious and kitchen had everything we needed and more!!And it’s kind of paired up with the bigger cottage next door, my brother/family had rented it for my nephews wedding up there so we could be next door to each other but it was canceled on them out of nowhere it had been booked for a year so I was concerned about the closeness /proximity of the cottage next door with regards to privacy and such. But it was fine you still felt comfortable and privacy was not an issue at all!! It would be beautiful in fall and winter!! We will definitely be back! Thanks Tim!

The house was nice but not excellent I would say. It is set with a group of houses, which won’t be an issue for some but did provide neighbors wandering throughout our outdoor space so if you want something private, it won’t be that. The cleanliness of the home left some things to be desired, especially on covered patio area and floor inside. It is extremely convenient for Union Pier hotspots, the beach, and in my opinion groups that will be out and about enjoying those things. For the management group - I would recommend a more streamlined check in and check out information guide, I got the answers needed but had to ask for the details. In the past most other homes I’ve stayed in have provided this up front making it easy.

Absolutely beautiful property. The home was extremely clean modern and everything we needed was there.The bunkbeds are all double beds. The bathrooms were more than we expected,outstanding! We didn’t use it, but there was a hot tub, a grill and a very nice outdoor patio section. Great place for a large group or family to stay.

This was one of the best stocked vacation properties I’ve stayed at. It was clean, roomy, elegant, and had many amenities that helped make the stay feel special and stress- free.
