My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend, and it served as a great home base for a series of daytrips around Olympic National Park. Everything was very clean and orderly, and the space had a cozy vibe that was perfect after a day of exploring the wilderness. We also loved the proximity to downtown Port Angeles. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved loved this place ! Views were great and walking distance to restaurants. The fireplace in the back was perfection and the host made sure logs were ready to go each day. We loved their dog!

Perfect location and the apartment is so charming with special touches like farm fresh eggs and shampoo that smelled amazing. The property is beautiful with vibrant flowers, chickens, grape vines, and apple trees. The view was of the port was nice and we loved opening the windows listening to the tugboats and seagulls.

Chez Zig Zag was a beautifully maintained property. Amy and Brent were excellent hosts. The home had everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. The location was also great since it was walking distance to the town. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this beautiful property with its great location, views, and welcoming owners. Amy & Brent made us feel like guest rather than tenants. They have thought of everything, and communication was timely and helpful. Comfortable beds, nicely appointed and a darling apartment with beautiful gardens on the property.

The accommodations are comfortable with all the amenities necessary. The view is incredible! We enjoyed the patio and all the places to relax outdoors. Again, all while looking out to the water & downtown Port Angeles. Very convenient to the ferry, restaurants, & businesses. We especially loved the Country Aire Natural Foods grocery at the bottom of the zig zag walkway. Oh, and the resident dog Winnie is very sweet!

The apartment is darling and perfectly located. We spent our days exploring the Olympic National Park and then could just walk downtown to find a restaurant for dinner. The view is lovely. It was a treat to drink my morning coffee and look out over the water. The apartment has everything you need, and the hosts are very helpful. Highly recommend.

The mountain and water views were spectacular! The hosts were also fantastic! Super-friendly, very respectful of our privacy but most definitely available for questions and suggestions for things to do. Also, every room had so much thought put into it that whenever we looked for something, we found it right where we would have put it. It really is a very well-thought out design. All this and the price was very reasonable. We are most definitely going to return there!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chez ZigZag! From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and at home. The flat was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, and you can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into making the space welcoming for guests.One of our favorite parts was the beautiful outdoor area. We loved sitting by the outdoor fireplace in the evenings and enjoying a fire, with the wood thoughtfully supplied by the owners. The gardens and outdoor spaces made the property feel extra special.We also had the pleasure of meeting both owners, who were so friendly, gracious, and welcoming. And I have to mention the chickens! I absolutely adored their little chicken coop and visiting with the chickens. Winnie, their sweet dog, completely stole our hearts too — she loved playing ball and was such a fun part of our stay.Chez ZigZag was more than just a place to stay while visiting the Olympic Peninsula — it became a wonderful part of our Washington experience. We felt very comfortable and well cared for throughout our visit. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Chez ZigZag to anyone visiting the Port Angeles/Olympic National Park area. A truly wonderful experience!

Amy and Brent are both active Realtors with BROKERSGROUP Real Estate Professionals in Sequim WA. Both are regular cyclists and enjoy e-biking around the North Olympic Peninsula. Living here has been a blessing to them. They look forward to sharing the wonders of Port Angeles and the North Olympic Peninsula with their guests.
After living all over the USA, they've decided this is the best place of all. The natural beauty of the surroundings and the friendly people are delightful. Amy grew up in Pennsylvania, Brent in Southern Oregon. They have four grown children and four grand kids. They've now been married for 43 wonderful years and look forward to many more.
They live on the main floor and are available should a special need arise. They may, occasionally, be using either one of the two patios, or be maintaining other aspects of the property. When possible, they will to do this when Guests are not present.

The Powells stumbled into a vacation rental. The home they purchased came with a separate apartment upstairs. The renters moved out and they spent the next 4 months remodeling the apartment. Amy did the designing, Brent and hired professionals did the rest.
They are excited to offer it to visitors to the North Olympic Peninsula. "If we came to Port Angeles looking for a vacation rental, this is the one we would pick. It is luxurious, and centrally located with easy access to just about everything." Chez ZigZag provides a peaceful retreat that can't be beat. Come and see. You won't be disappointed!

We were attracted to our home by the fact it had been solidly and well constructed and remained in original condition. Best of all there had been no mediocre, ill conceived, home owner remodels to correct... it was a blank canvas. What you see now took several years, financial commitment and many craftsmen's hours to accomplish. We are excited to share it with you.
