"The Cottage" is a luxury whole home rental just 3 minutes from the heart of Downtown Boerne, TX. A two block walk from famous "Bakery Lorraine," a must go for coffee, pastries, and more. Fully stocked and intentionally prepared for your arrival, you'll find everything you need in this home. Carefully designed to have a cozy cottage feel the moment you walk through the door. With high end finishes throughout the home, comfortable beds and luxury bedding, fast WiFi, a spacious fenced in back yard with a fire pit, and a welcome gift with your arrival, this home will be your favorite getaway spot. In this home you will have a bedroom with a king size pillow top mattress and custom bedding. Another room has a queen size pillow top mattress with custom bedding as well. A shared main bathroom with large double sink vanity and walk in shower is located down the hall between the two bedrooms. The home also has a half bath shared with a washer/dryer by the kitchen. You’ll have a completely fenced in back yard under gorgeous oak trees providing plenty of shade. There are four chairs around a fire pit, a perfect spot to enjoy an evening outside or a morning cup of coffee. There is room for 2-3 cars in the gravel driveway and additional parking allowed on the streets if needed.

The experience with this home and the owner could not have been any better. First, the home is gorgeous. The first word out of my mouth when I walked in was “Wow!” The home was built in 1953 but has been completely renovated from top to bottom. The décor is designer quality and includes stone countertops, sleek, modern plumbing fixtures, and high-end appliances (the photos don't do it justice). The kitchen is fully equipped, way beyond the basics. The bathroom is stunning, and one very thoughtful touch is a drawer under one of the sinks filled with toiletries, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, a first aid kit, and other nice touches. They don't skimp on towels, either. Meg, the owner, left us a sweet, hand-written welcome note and some cookies from a nearby bakery to find upon our arrival. She went out of her way to provide a Pack 'n' Play for our infant to sleep in, which I don't think is normally in the house. The weather was too cold to use the fenced backyard, but the space is really nice. It includes a well-manicured lawn and a sitting area, as well as an ancient oak tree to add ambiance. Again, just beautiful. I got the impression that the owners designed this rental property by asking themselves what would they like to have in a home-away-from -home. I believe no expense was spared. I have stayed in a number of short-term rentals (my first VRBO), and I can say without hesitation that this is the best one I’ve ever rented.

Beautiful home! Instruction book, welcoming pastries and water were appreciated! Very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Felt warm and cozy just like home! We had zero issues. Location ideal, walking distance to Main Street , shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay the next time we’re in Boerne- Thank you!

The cottage is an extremely peaceful place to spend a few days or longer in. It's beautifully decorated and has an amazing backyard! Everything was perfect for our stay and the cottage had all the amenities we required.

Graduation celebration

We traveled to Boerne for our granddaughter’s graduation. Everything at The Cottage was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the lovely property both inside out outside. So convenient to everything! Thanks for a most enjoyable week.

Wonderful House

This was a brief getaway for our family. The house was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed and was extremely clean. We walked to Bakery Lorraine and just a quick drive to Main Street. Meg was a wonderful host and quick to answer my questions. My family agreed we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely perfect

We were in Boerne for a family celebration and stayed at the Cottage for three nights. It was as advertised, pictures were exactly how it looked, beautifully done. Great location, close to Main Street, but quiet at night. Meg has thought of everything, if you had forgotten something, she probably had it covered. She was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions or requests. I would highly recommend the Cottage.

Impeccable

Overall a true delight from entering the home to leaving a week later. Sister was recovering from knee surgery and the large living room window was perfect while lounging on the comfy sofa. We LOVED the bedroom furnishings from wonderful pillows to a great mattress and the sheets were 5 Star for sure. Do not miss staying here!!

Absolutely Welcoming Cottage

My family and I had a short stay related to medical visit. We came across the house while taking in the charming home restoration sites in Boerne. Without hesitatation i booked the rental. The cottage experience was magnificent. If you can appreciate fine craftsmanship you will not be disappointed. The host went above and beyond with every attention to detail. I could have sworn i was at tHotel Emma. I highly recommend the home and the graciousness of the host.

Charming cottage

Beautifully remodeled small cottage; just right for me and my adult daughter to enjoy while we were in town for Thanksgiving with the extended family. Very comfortable and convenient!

Beautiful cottage, great location

Meg has done a wonderful job transforming the house into a very cool, modern home. State of the art appliances, beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood but very close to shops, restaurants and the Hill Country Mile. She was very responsive to our questions and is a thoughtful, gracious host. Highly recommended!

Wedding Getaway

Having a destination wedding to the beautiful town of Boerne. This cottage, was the best decision for the weekend to relax before the big day. The host was amazing and great with communication. The house was beautiful, and made you not want to leave. Would definitely recommend to anyone and stay again.

Quaint Boerne Cottage

The Cottage was perfect for our family weekend away. A few blocks away from Bakery Lorraine, newly renovated, and as clean as can be! The finishes and attention to detail extend to every single corner of this darling house. I cannot recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to go back.
