Summer is here! Need to getaway and unplug? Welcome to this cozy loft apartment high in the trees with a view of Lake Martin.

In the mornings, sip coffee on the private deck high up in the trees. Enjoy the outside fire pit while roasting S'mores. Public boat ramps are 15 minutes away for a day of fishing or enjoying your boat with a friend or family. Or enjoy nearby hiking trails, boutique shopping, and local dining.

Our location is also perfect for attending local weddings in Eclectic, racing the tracks at Monster Mountain MX, or participating in local fishing tournaments.

Just 20 minutes from Wetumpka, AL, featured on HGTV's Home Town Takeover!

Weekend Trip

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip with our youngest son before we dropped him off for camp. It was a very pleasant stay and the host was incredibly generous. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wedding Guest Weekend

I stayed at The Red Barn for a weekend wedding at Marsgate. I would go as far as to exceed 5 stars and give it a 10. As a solo staying there it was perfect. Jenny had the temperature perfect when I arrived. Wonderful tips for my stay and I must say coffee on the deck with the sounds of the woods and lake were serene. Wish my stay could have been longer. Thank You Jenny!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Located right near the lake, this place was perfect for our weekend getaway! And the view of Lake Martin was absolutely breathtaking! To say The Barn at Grateful Cove surpassed our expectations, would definitely be an understatement. The house was immaculate, and we were very impressed by the host’s attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need or want was provided. Jenny was also super responsive, friendly, and helpful! We are already looking at dates for a return visit.

Perfect!

My son and I stayed here while riding our dirt bikes at Monster Mountain. Beautiful and peaceful place. Hope to make it back again this year. Only downsize is that it is a small place. If you have more than 3 people, look elsewhere.

Great little spot to stay

This is a cozy little place with attention to detail. The hosts really took the time to think about what a renter may need and had little extras as well.

My husband and I met in Nashville but found this place on Lake Martin. He grew up visiting his grandfather's house on the lake, so we were excited to spend more time down here. We love hosting guests and giving others the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings.
