A wonderful, relaxing vacation awaits steps away from Lake Jordan. Dogwood Cottage is a premier luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bath that sleeps 6 with a King bed, Queen Murphy Bed and queen sleeper sofa. A covered porch with ceiling fans overlooking the lake invites you to sit in the rockers for your morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon nap in the twin size bed swing in the screened area. Surrounded by trees, the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze make stress disappear. Marvel in the majestic evening sunsets while soaking in the hot tub or sitting around the lakeside fire pit. Just a 5 minute walk to The Pointe which offers various activities most weekends including inflatables, food trucks, live music and pontoon rentals. Located 12 miles from Wetumpka, as featured on HGTV, with several restaurants, boutiques, art exhibits, casino, kayak and paddle board rentals. Several nearby biking and hiking trails. Hot tub, canoe, grill, swim and boat dock available on site for use. Football fans alert--We are 50 miles from Auburn and have RV parking available. Dogwood Cottage was wonderful. The owners are terrific-they live next to the cottage. The unit has everything you would need for an extended stay. Much planning went into the layout of the cottage. The fixtures are top line-lake views are amazing. If you are looking for a relaxing, charming holiday-Dogwood Cottage would be hard to beat!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and well stocked, checkin was easy, host is very hospitable. The house had everything we needed and Carla was available if we had needed anything. We enjoyed the dock, swimming, hot tub, and porch the most! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay at Dogwood Cottage. The accommodations were everything we could ask for in a rental. The host was available when needed and quick to answer our questions. The vacation cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We loved the location surrounded by nature.

I’m not easily impressed but this cottage is a gem. It’s new and clean with lovely amenities and a host that truly wants you to enjoy the property. The host goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. Luxurious linens, new appliances, furnishings and other details are obviously a priority (and set this cottage apart from others). If you appreciate creature comforts and Lake Jordan don’t miss a chance to stay here. I’ll be back, hopefully often.

My husband and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway from Auburn to have some R&R. We absolutely loved staying here. The king bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed morning coffee while reading on the swinging porch bed. We enjoyed sunbathing on the pier and swimming in the lake and I went for a few walks in the neighborhood. We drove into Wetumpka for dinner both nights. It's a really cute town - highly recommend watching the HGTV series where they revamped the downtown. Dinner at Our Place was delicious. One thing that was a little unexpected is that the water in this area has a very earthy taste, so we picked up a few gallons of drinking water from Publix in Wetumpka. We didn't get to meet the owners who were out of town but we met the pet sitter and their friendly little dog. We definitely plan on coming back for another escape in the near future.

This is a beautiful property. The house was immaculate. The amenities were great. Loved the back porch. The views of the lake were beautiful and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Especially enjoyed the fire pit. The host was very attentive and was helpful in making our stay enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely immaculate and looked even better than the pictures. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Our group had the best time, especially fishing — it was definitely a highlight of the trip.The host was wonderful and very accommodating, even allowing us to stay a little longer, which we really appreciated. You can tell they truly care about their guests having a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
