Short and so sweet

Awesome little cabin with tons of character. Good location, easy to get anywhere Estes related. Cool features inside. Host provided tons of info and directions well in advance to stay. Thank you, Daniel!

Surprise proposal

Everything went swell. There was mix up getting arrival information, but life happens. Beautiful property in a beautiful location!

Mix up on the door code.

We didn't realize the door code had been changed shortly before we arrived to our destination. En route to our destination, the host sent a different door code in an email saying he changed it, so we couldn't get in using the original door code given us earlier. I didn't have email on my phone so I had no way of knowing he had changed the door code at the last minute. I couldn't contact the host to my knowledge so we went back home. Daniel Sewell, the host, said he would not refund my money. He felt it was my fault for not contacting vrbo.com to get hold of him while we were at the property. I am not a technical person since I am 82 years old and don't have an email on my phone. I felt he was rude to me. I think people need to realize that not everyone has a cell phone or knows how to navigate a cell phone. He needed to consider the fact that changing door codes mid-stream right before we got there might not be a wise decision for that reason. Since we were not going to get a refund and we had payed for two nights, we decided to go back to the place and use the second night's rent. Therefore, we lost one night's pay. We tried to make the best of our last night's stay although the place was very small for the price we paid. Never again!!
