Discover our charming duplex. Our residence has everything you need for your stay in WDM. Located 5 minutes from Jordan Creek. On-site laundry, a huge living room/dining room with setting for 6 , Smart TV, nice kitchen. Sleeps 8. Quiet neighborhood with parking available for multiple vehicles in the driveway. Close to some of the best WDM restaurants - Cool Basil, Waterfront Seafood Market and Cafe, among others. Only 10 minutes from Downtown.

Welcome to Clive. Clive has awesome shops, restaurants, nature trails - you name it, Clive has it. The duplex is in a quiet neighborhood right across the street from University Park Shopping Center which houses TJ Maxx, Waterfront Seafood, the new Brazil Terra Grill Steakhouse. It's also a few blocks from Starbucks, Cool Basil, Kohls and SO many more shopping and eating opportunities.

The right side of the duplex is all yours. Deck outside to share and back yard.
The driveway to the Right of the home is all yours.

This is a duplex, guests have access to the entire right side of the house, the Right side of home's driveway and shared yard/deck.

Getting around couldn't be easier. Whether you prefer exploring the city by foot, bike or ride share, there is great public transit, bike lanes, even downtown sky walks to avoid bad weather! And of course Uber is only a text away.

Shared main covered entrance with invidual entrance doors. Yours is on the Right!

My worst experience yet.

No air conditioning the first night we got there. Extremely hot temperatures. Fixed by the next night. Broken handle on refrigerator, lights that did not work and no bulbs. Door handle on cupboard was missing. Unsecured residence. Garage door did not have a lock so anybody could walk in and we could not lock the inside door. This was fixed after many times of asking. They put a lock on the garage door the day before we left. So all day and night anybody could have walked into the house. No soap in the bathroom or toilet paper. They did bring some right away. It was very disappointing. We ended up leaving two days early.

Convenient

Convenient for where we were going. Host company was very responsive and allowed us to check out an hour late but then didn’t tell the cleaning lady. But the place needs a lot of work. Half the lights didn’t work, the towel bar in the upstairs bathroom is hanging on by a thread, there was a bug on my pillow, the sheets are very worn, the towels are tiny, the tv in the living room took 30 seconds just to turn on, etc. it was a place to stay but needs work.

Cleanliness and Major Security Concerns! Ultimately not worth the issues we dealt with.

I would NOT recommend this property, nor would I stay again in future.There were a few things we liked about this place:1) Quiet and accessible to many major areas of DSM.2) Prompt, thorough correspondence with host company leading up to/ during our stay, though we did run into some major communication issues regarding the major issues we experienced with this property.Upon checking in (about 8pm), the cleanliness issues were immediately apparent. The place was absolutely FILTHY. There was dirt, dust, hair, mystery stains/ substances on walls, and even visible garbage throughout the house. We have so many photos documenting this. There was a discarded fanny pack under the couch full of personal effects that seems to have been there since at least last October based on contents. We were uncomfortable and disgusted by the overall condition.The worst issue is a matter of basic security and safety. The basement was a garage space accessible into the main living area. There’s a manual garage door that had no locks/ any way of being secured and could be easily opened from inside or outside. Largest point of entry completely vulnerable. The door from basement into house couldn't be secured either; the lock was installed backward. We barricaded doors with kitchen chairs to get sleep. We voiced our issues to the host and were told it would be dealt with promptly that day, but that didn't happen. I truly wish I could post the pics and correspondences here to help others.

Not as advertised.

Property did not have a huge living room, nor a dining room to seat 6 as advertised. Several blinds broken when we arrived (host did offer to replace during our stay). Area rugs covered some stains in carpets, but had loose debris under them, and created tripping hazards. Communication with host was great, but property nees a through clean and some updates.

Great stay, wonderful property

We were working at the Knapp Center and we needed lodging for two adult workers. Facility was delivered as promised. We would stay again and recommend the hosts all day long.
