We are sorry that you feel this way Trent. This is the first bad review we have ever received, so we would like explain the truth. We do have a very thorough cleaning company that spends over 4 hours at the home deep cleaning after every stay, so I'm not sure what would have been dirty. Prior to your stay, we replaced all the high end bedding in each bedroom as we like provide top not quality to each guest. After your stay, our brand new sheets and bedding were completely stained beyond washing or dry cleaning, and you did leave with our brand new king size pillows. We asked you numerous times what happened? We paid almost $400 for the high end bedding and pillows, but felt it was fair that you guys pay $200, which is only half what it costed to replace those items. Then, we were even nice enough to credit you back $100 for a pet fee after your reservation deposit was submitted. We are very nice people, but when things are damaged or missing, that is what security deposits are for. We have never in 3 years had to do that before with any guest. We were very polite about it, tried asking you what happened to the pillows and the sheets, and the new comforters, but you gave us no response, so VRBO deducted a security deposit to replace those items. We are very sorry about the way your stay ended, but it was nothing we did on our end. We still gave you a 5-star rating as a guest, and we wish you the best in your future VRBO experiences.
