The Cabin at Roney Creek Ranch

Welcome to the Cabin at Roney Creek Ranch.

Here on our farm you can enjoy "The best of both worlds". After spending your day enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Nashville and Middle Tennessee retreat to the fresh country air and serenity of this log cabin home. Sitting on a 5 acre private farm just 35 minutes north of downtown Nashville in the town of Cottontown, the cabin is conveniently only 10 minutes from I-65.

We have furnished the cabin with your comfort in mind. You will find a large open living area with a stone gas fireplace for chilly cozy evenings. There is a full kitchen with everything you'll need for home-cooked meals complete with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The main floor master bedroom features a queen size bed and private bath with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two twin beds plus, a loft with another twin bed, and a rollaway bed available upon request. The loft also has a desk for guest use with twin monitors and a 2nd full bath with a stand up shower. A washer & dryer are also provided for your convenience. Outside you can relax on one of two porches watching the cows graze.

Around the farm you will occasionally see deer making their way across the pasture. You will encounter rabbits too - especially at night. Our cows may come to the fence to see who is here.

You’ll love the peaceful, bucolic location of this property! While you’ll love relaxing at your private cabin, be sure to venture out and explore the surrounding areas and discover all there is to do, just a short drive away.

The hosts were friendly and communicated very well. The area, house, and surroundings are very beautiful and balanced. There were stocked items for our stay so we didn’t need to get much besides food and beverages. I wish we could give it 10 stars as this was a perfect and wonderful experience!

Perfect get away

Everything was as advertised. Cabin was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The owners were very accommodating and i would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. If i take a trip to the area again this is where i would stay

Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. This cabin was a great retreat at the end of each day in Tennessee. If we come back to Tennessee this would be a great place to stay again.

This cabin was lovely! It was perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was well stocked with appropriate and useful amenities, and the host decorated it for the season. It is very obvious the hosts care very much about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch all day with the idyllic scenery and setting. It was the perfect location, with great attractions within easy driving distance. Just perfect!

This was the cleanest, coziest cabin! They have thought of all the amenities.... Everything you could possibly need is there. The location was in close proximity to meet all our needs for my son's wedding. I just wish we had more time to stay and relax. Coffee on the porch with a morning breeze was perfection!

BEAUTIFUL CABIN!!

What a beautiful cabin and location! The property was amazing, WiFi access very good and the cabin had everything you would ever need. We got to meet Julio on site and he was so very nice and polite, asking if we needed anything or had any questions about the cabin. My sister and I were celebrating my birthday and had a wonderful time!

Cozy cabin!

Excellent cabin in a peaceful spot!

This is a great place to stay. The cabin is rustic but with all the modern conveniences. It's got a great view and quiet setting. The hosts have clearly put a ton of thought into what their guests might need. If we're ever in the Nashville area again, this Cabin at Rooney Creek will be at the top of our list.

Great Getaway

My friends and I came up for a quiet retreat from the rat race and couldn’t have been more pleased! Sitting on the porch watching the cows during the day and listening to nature at night was a very relaxing way to spend a few days.

Great Place!

This place is very beautiful. Such a quiet neighborhood and great layout! The owner is great with communication! I even got the chance to speak to her in person. Great people! 10/10 recommend this place! We had a falling out with our stay before this place and they let us come a day early and helped us work it out!

Beautiful Place

We stayed here for the weekend while our son got to spend some time with his friend, who moved to White House a few months ago. The cabin is SO clean, cozy, and just minutes from restaurants and stores. However it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. We loved the cows hanging out in front of the cabin in the mornings. We will stay here again for our next trip to Nashville!

Visiting family in the area

It was wonderful! A long time friend and I came from Pennsylvania to spend time with my kids and grandkids. It was the perfect location and setting for relaxing downtime between family events. It is close enough to Nashville as well. It was my friend’s first visit so it was important to me. We had a great time- I would rent again!

Great Getaway!

The cabin was exactly as listed. There was everything we needed to make meals and have a comfortable stay while we were away from home. It is a kid-friendly environment with a rustic feel. We got rained in for a day, but there were still plenty of things to keep us occupied while the storm passed. We were in communication with the hosts and they were very timely with responses and kindness. The cabin was fair in pricing and we would definitely recommend this property to friends and family for a comfortable place to stay.

Cold and snow in the forecast

Checked out 2 days early. Cabin was very nice but weather turned cold and snow (3"-6")was in the forecast. Could not get cabin warm and didn't want to get snowed in. We were to check out on Saturday. Storm was coming on the Friday before.

Hello Marta! Glad to see you made it back home safely despite the unexpected weather conditions here in Middle TN! Unfortunately, the weather is outside of our control and we wish we could make every day for our guests sunny and 60 degrees! As we were in constant communication we would have loved to have been more helpful at your request. The cabin is equipped with heaters on the upper and lower floor, baseboard heaters, and a gas fire place that are available for your use! Those are all in addition to the portable heater that was available in the master bed room. I wish we could have been made more aware of your needs as we inform all of our guests we are available with just a phone call or text!
