Sunset River Vacation! Boat Dock; Pet friendly; Sleeps 9

The sunsets defy description in this waterfront cottage on the Wisconsin River. Originally built in 1896, a lifetime of memories will be created swimming off of the dock, watching the sunset on the patio or taking off on the snowmobile trail. Have a boat? bring it along! Put in in the nearby boat landing and tie up on the dock right out the back door. There is swimming off of the dock, grab a kayak, or throw a line to catch a bass.

After the fun, create meals in the kitchen, play carpetball outside, watch movies, play games or just watch the best sunset on the water. When the sun goes down, put some wood in the fire pit and enjoy the starry sky.

In the morning, while your clothes in the washer and dryer, try out the bike path along the river leading to a waterfront restaurant for lunch and dinner a short walk or ride away.

Whether in town for the Waterski Show, Golfing, Snowmobiling, or just visiting family, this location will be a great place to home base.

Great location on the Wisconsin River in a quiet neighborhood! Wonder views of the river and a cozy cabin with nice amenities. Close proximity to Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point for daily adventures. Wonderful walking trail that follows the river. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway!

This is a well cared for older home in a beautiful location. Very restful and inviting. It is set up for fun as well as chilling out. If we had more time, we would have taken the kayaks out. The trail goes right to a great bar and grill. The sunsets really are lovely. Easily could have enjoyed an extra evening there. Had a chance to touch base with the neighbors as well as the host. They are good people to be around, welcoming and helpful. I am glad we choose this home for our travels through Wisconsin. Thank you.

Cute and Accommodating

First off I would like to advise how quickly the owners respond and how accommodating they were.The property itself is beautiful to say the least, literally right next to the river where we could catch large fishing jumping and close enough to a bar to eat out if needed.

I wish we could have used the property more, but the weather was cold, but the heat in the house kept us comfortable. The bunk room was incredible my kids loved it.

Great Family Gathering Spot for Son's Graduation from UWSP

Tims place on the river was a great place for family to gather and hang out for our son's graduation weekend. We were surprised at how roomy the place was for all of us to relax and enjoy the weekend. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate and we couldn't enjoy the patio and dock more, but we found the inside a cozy place to hang out during the rain. The paved walk path was great for walking the dog as well!Another nice part was that there isn't a lot of houses or traffic in the immediate area, and once you walk down the path a way, there are several nice areas to sit waterside and enjoy the Wisconsin River.

Your hosts are local and have owned the property for 12 years. We love the cottage and have shared many amazing memories in this cozy cottage that is well over 125 years old! We are glad to share it with you. We bought this property because of the sunsets and all the future memories we would make. We hope you will like it for the same reason. Have Fun!

The cottage is located on the water. It is 25 feet off of the water! The bunkhouse sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds underneath 2 twins in custom built sleeping bunks -- each with its own reading light. The master has a new Queen-sized bed. Sunshine? Go swimming off the dock, kayak around the river, play pickleball outside or enjoy some time on the patio. Take a walk down to the local pub and restaurant. Grill something fantastic. Bad weather? Play games inside, stream your favorite service on one of the three TVs, keep the kids busy with the gaming console or make a big family dinner. Croquet, Kubb, Bocci and more are available in the shed in the back. A washer and dryer, full kitchen and Heating/cooling will make sure you are comfortable any time of year. Wifi is fast and reliable. Parking is available for up to 4 cars. Owners are local and accommodating.
