Welcome to Horizon South Unit 73D, a comfortable 1-bedroom plus bunk condo located in a gated Panama City Beach community with pools, hot tubs, sports courts, and mini golf. With a king bedroom, hallway bunks, queen sleeper sofa, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a relaxing balcony, this property has everything needed for a fun and easy beach getaway.

The Space

The kitchen is stocked for everything from snacks to full meals, with a breakfast bar and dining area for easy seating. The living room offers plenty of space to relax, watch a movie, or unwind after a day at the beach.
The balcony includes Adirondack chairs, making it a great spot for morning coffee or relaxing outdoors.

Horizon South Amenities

Horizon South is a gated community with family-friendly amenities, including:
• Pools
• Hot tubs

Parking & Wristband Fees
• Guests must purchase parking passes and pool wristbands upon arrival. These fees are not included in the grand total.
• Wristbands: $20 per person for stays of 10 days or less
• Wristbands: $40 per person for stays over 10 days
• Parking: $25 per vehicle for stays of 10 days or less
• Parking: $50 per vehicle for stays of 10 days or more

Construction Notice
Horizon South currently has an ongoing infrastructure project. The project began February 10 and is expected to last approximately 190 days, ending by the end of August.
The project includes:
• Storm drain replacement along Horizon Drive
• Front beach entry improvements
• Pond cleanout on the south side of the property
• There is no direct impact to the condo itself.

Clean & Comfortable Stay

This property includes clean, sanitized sheets and towels professionally cleaned by Gulf Coast Laundry Services. Our housekeeping team uses effective disinfecting techniques to help ensure the condo is clean, comfortable, and ready for your arrival.

Important Rental Information
• Late May through early August: 4-night rentals, with check-in or check-out on Saturday or Sunday
• Early March through late April: 5-night rentals, with check-in or check-out on Saturday or Sunday
• January and February: Monthly rentals
• For shorter stay requests during restricted seasons, please submit an inquiry
• Maximum 2-week rentals from March through November
• For special requests, please contact Reservations directly
• Renter must be at least 25 years old

Nice, quiet location, family friendly

I was impressed when I arrived. It was bigger then I expected. I was concerned about the view from the porch because there was no picture online. It's a private porch. The view is of palm trees. The property has lots of trees and is shaded. There are lots of hidden fees! You have to buy a $20 bracelet to be on the property. This includes everyone in your party, including children. You also have to pay $25 for parking. The parking did not frustrate me as much as the $20 bracelets. There are tennis courts and golf but you can't use them because the owner of the condo did not leave rackets or golf clubs in the condo. There are also no board games or anything like that in the condo. There were sand toys and beach chairs on the porch, which was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pots and pans. There was no hair dryer nor full length mirror.

Unfortunately since we only own the condo itself and the parking and resort amenities are offered by the resort, those fees are included in the condo rental price and apologize that you weren't aware before your arrival! We would love to have you back for your next getaway!

Disappointed

I’m sad to say this place needs some work. They describe it as recently remodeled but they left the black moldy drywall and a dead critter under the kitchen sink, chiseled broken kitchen tiles around the dishwasher, 3 lights outside of our unit with burned out lightbulbs ( 1 at the front door and 2 in the stair well) and terrible black mold around the ceiling vents. Not to mention blood on the comforter (noticed after a nights sleep) AND major construction at the ocean facing entrance to the resort which meant it was closed to vehicles. At times pedestrians walking to the beach ( and this was the only route to the beach) had to walk thru sludge of unknown substance to get to the beach. When we talked to the person in the office about having contractors make a path for guests to walk to the beach she told us she didn’t work there and that the manager was on vacation in the mountains …NICE….I will say our Host tried to address our concerns quickly like (light bulb above door and new bed linens were delivered ) they offered to clean the mold but we declined due to disturbing that kind of mold would have made the breathing situation worse) AND they did offer us a visa GC with a nights stay on it. That was nice but after all the things that went wrong with this unit and the resort, trust me when I say I’d rather pay full price and have a nice healthy place to vacation at.
