Great Quality Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Traveling to Whistler for the first time I found that staying at Whistler Superior had everything I needed, and was conveniently placed about 10min from the lifts. The front desk attendant was super helpful with answering all our questions and pointing us in the right direction of places to go. The unit was clean and they provided extra pillows and towels. I plan on booking with them next year.

L'endroit est très bien situé, parfait pour une famille. Le site et la piscine sont propres et accueillants. Par contre, le divan est plutôt vieux et inconfortable pour un long séjour et 2 enfants. Un rafraîchissement des accessoires de cuisine serait nécessaire.

Ideal location right by Whistler village and across the street from village north market place. Great place for a family! Condo was exactly as described and shown in pics. Would go back!

Not Quiet Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This particular unit #49 is FAR from quiet as the title states "quiet location." This unit is located in the back of the complex and back up to the highway so you constantly heard cars drive by. This was by far the loudest place I've ever stayed in Whistler. The unit above was also doing some construction that started at 8am every morning. The rugs are absolutely filthy!!! This unit needs a few new necessities; vacuum clear that actually works, cutting board, bowls, new pans and new carpet! Was disappointed that the hot tub was out of order for several days. Overall I would book with Whistler Superior again but absolutely would NOT recommend this unit.

Convenient location, well maintained property. Easy access to Whistler Village and bike trails, low friction check in process. Would recommend to couples looking to spend time in Whistler!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was probably the most disappointing stay we’ve had in an AirBnB. The development itself is nice, staff were all very friendly and helpful, the parking was convenient and it it’s close to all you need in Whistler centre. The problem is the apartment itself. It’s on the ground floor at the back of the development. That means its directly surrounded by tall trees, so the apartment is always dark – even on a sunny day. Additionally, being at the back means that just beyond those trees is the Sea to Sky highway - and that carries a lot of traffic, so there’s noise, even at night /early morning. There is a wrap around patio, but again it’s very dark (one comer gets some light late in the day) and most if it faces towards that road so it’s very noisy – it looked as though it had not been used for a long-time

Stony Creek Northstar #49 (March 2016)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Northstar complex is in a convenient location for accessing the Village. It is great for families, and our kids enjoyed the pool and large hot tub. The property management company was easy to deal with and the rental arrangements were straightforward. However, the condition of the specific unit that we stayed in (#49) was very disappointing. This unit is very dark, with very little overhead lighting and would be greatly improved with more or better lighting. It is also located at the back of the complex bordering on the highway so it would not be appealing to have doors or windows open in warmer months due to road noise. We noticed noise from the tenants in the unit above (which can reasonably be expected in a ground floor unit). Overall this particular unit felt neglected, and greatly lacking functional upkeep and esthetic updates. The sofa bed in the living room appears 20+ years old with a thin, deeply sagging mattress. The kitchen supplies were minimal, with basically only 4 of everything (plates, each utensil etc) so you find yourself running a dishwasher that is only half full or handwashing in order to have plates etc to use. The two "white" porcelain kitchen sinks are both badly worn with unsightly dark brown staining etched in to the bottom of the basins. The shower head in the bathroom did not produce great water pressure - would be nice if this was changed to a newer model. We had a problem with the cable for the TV not working, but the property management company was good about sending someone over to help reset it and get it working for us. We would not hesitate to stay in the Northstar complex again, and Whistler Superior was a fairly good management company to deal with, but we would not return to this particular unit.

Set up really for those who entertain with an overload of wine goblets, plastic wine goblets plastic and glass pitchers..... tucked away. An oven glass baking dish would be very handy. But again not set up for self catering. No cereal bowls just 4 large soup bowls.... Blender? Cleaning crew never mopped as there were coffee/tea spills in the kitchen. The noise from the above unit was annoying as one can hear the clatter of shoes and opening and closing of doors and drawers. Respectful of neighbours sign posted, please.
