Unbelievably rude host
We had issues with the host hanging up on us when we asked for a refund because we could not reach the cabin with our vehicle.
The host then ghosted us when we needed the pin to get into the cabin as the internet reception was poor and I couldn't open the app to get the pin.
Fortunately, some kind-hearted neighbors let us connect to their internet to get the pin--otherwise we would have been locked out there in the dark.
Also, twice some kindly neighbors saw that we were walking over a mile in the 90+ degree heat up and down these incredibly steep hills and decided to give us a ride.
Lastly, when I informed the host via the online platform that we were checking out and that his neighbors had helped us, he had the audacity to tell me that he thought I only got help from the neighbors to make him look bad and then told me to be a better person.
