Welcome to Amazonia, a handcrafted open-air treehouse made for adventurous travelers who want a rustic, nature-immersive stay near Red River Gorge. This is not a traditional luxury cabin—it is a true treehouse experience with open-air charm, handcrafted details, and the sights and sounds of nature all around you.
Spend your mornings sipping coffee among the trees, relax on the party patio, stretch out on the hammock floor, gather by the firepit, and rinse off in the private outdoor shower after a day exploring the Gorge.

• Amenities: Amazonia includes an equipped kitchenette with a small fridge, two-burner cooktop, microwave, French press coffee maker, Wi-Fi, firepit, party patio, hammock floor, and plenty of rustic treehouse charm.

• Bathroom:
- 1 full bathroom with outdoor shower. Please note that the bathroom is accessed by stepping outside of the main cabin space, and the shower is fully outdoors but private and located on the back side of the home.

• Open-Air Treehouse Note: Amazonia is an open-air, rustic treehouse designed for immersive nature stays. Some areas are not fully insulated, and temperatures may vary with the weather. As a handcrafted treehouse, minor imperfections and rustic elements are part of the design.

• A Note About Nature:
You’re staying in the heart of Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and all the nature that comes with them. While our cabins are professionally cleaned and routinely treated for pests, occasional insects and other woodland visitors may still make an appearance—especially during warmer months. This is a natural part of staying in a heavily wooded mountain environment and does not necessarily indicate a cleanliness or pest-control issue.

• Accessibility Note: Amazonia is not recommended for anyone with mobility limitations due to ladders, elevation, and the outdoor bathroom/shower setup.

• Pet Policy: Amazonia welcomes dogs! A $100 pet fee covers up to 2 dogs. Please make sure pets are added to your reservation, and reach out after booking if the pet fee does not appear.

• Starter Essentials: Fresh linens and towels are provided. We also include an Essential Starter Pack: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, 3 trash bags, and 1 fresh sponge. Please note this is a starter pack and is not refilled.

• Firewood: Firewood is not provided. We encourage purchasing firewood locally to help prevent the spread of invasive species and protect our beautiful wooded areas.

• Parking + Access: 4WD is highly recommended. The property is located on a gravel hill, and trailers are prohibited.

• Location: Amazonia offers a prime Red River Gorge location close to hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sightseeing, restaurants, and more.

- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in the area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year`s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
