Aloha Candi,. I was surprised to wake and find your review this morning. I agree the location is great! Close to shopping & restaurants. Our beach is the best! I take great pride in furnishing & stocking our ocean view condo, and your comments concern me. It's true that our lanai is small, measuring 2 by 18 feet. For this reason, we have placed a small bistro table and 2 chairs on it for sipping morning coffee or watching the sun set over the ocean. We situated our main dining table adjacent to the lanai. Open the large sliding glass doors & screens, and effectively you have outdoor dining. The King mattress that you mention is only 2 1/2 years old. We have had no other complaints about it. We were on Island 3 weeks ago and checked all furniture, including the bed, and found no irregularities. The sheets not fitting properly during your stay would have been an easy fix, but you never mentioned anything about them. I would have immediately called my maid service to install new ones. What concerns me even more is that you never notified me to report insects in the condo. Our condo is treated by a professional pest control company bi-monthly. On Maui, this is very serious, and I would have alerted our maintenance department. They are very proactive and would have come immediately to thoroughly inspect & treat the issue. But, once again, you never reached out to allow me to take action. Communication with our guests is of upmost importance to me & I always try my best. Barbara

Aloha Kris, We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. We agree that the resort location and our beach is the best on Maui! I'm so sorry that you didn't reach out during your stay to report your concerns. You are my eyes and ears, and even though we were just on Island a few weeks ago to inspect & restock the condo, we didn't see what you are reporting. Things like towels are supplied by our maid company, and they would have been happy to replace them with others. Our maintenance team would have come the same day to repair the toilet...had we known to contact them. I'm sorry you didn't see the bath mat located in the closet. We provide that for your safety while showering. The kitchen side table with extra shelves is able to store extra groceries. In our condo description, we alert our guests that the lanai is small, measuring 2 by 18 feet. I'm sorry you missed that in the description. That is why we placed a small bistro table and 2 chairs on the lanai for sipping morning coffee or watching the sun set over the ocean. We also situated the dining table next to the large sliding glass doors. Open them and it's as if you are dining outside. Mahalo, Barbara & Howard

Aloha John! We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay in our Maui ocean view studio condo. We agree that the condo is centrally located and easily accessible to the larger hotels, shopping, and restaurants south of Black Rock. Riding the free green trolley or strolling the beach boardwalk allows you to enjoy without needing to find parking. You are right. Our lanai is small, equipped with a side table and 2 bistro chairs to enjoy sipping morning coffee or watching the sun set over the ocean. We also situated our dining table adjacent to the large sliding glass doors so that with them open, the outside with the birds flying past is our greatest joy. An added amenity is access to the "Free Green Ka'anapali Trolley" which makes a continuous loop between our resort and the large hotels, restaurants and shopping south of Black Rock.
