Very nice property

The house is big, plenty of room for entertaining. We had family stay with us and also rent a near by property. Plenty of room for dinners, etc together. A short walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

Great house in a great neighborhood

Host was great, communicated often. House has lots of room and the pool table was fun! Kitchen has everything you need to make a gourmet meal. Great house.

Outstanding

This was a wonderful place for our family to spend quality time together on our vacation. It is a beautiful home, complete with all of the amenities needed to make our stay a memorable one. Just a serene and peaceful place for all to unwind, have great fun playing ping pong and pool, and easy access to the lake. Came all the way from Hawai‘i and this was our home away from home. Excellent stay! Would stay here again on our next trip!

Great time away with family!!!

Thank you so much for opening your home to my family!! You had such wonderful accommodations and the ping pong and pool table was a huge hit!!!! Great property!

The house is beautiful and spacious and easily fit our family and friends (10 total people). We had 4 adults and 6 kids. The kids loved that there were tvs in every room and they played ping pong for hours. We are definitely interested in renting this property again.

Beautiful and very spacious home

Annual Ski Weekend

This is our 3rd annual ski weekend with family and friends. Karl is wonderful and very accommodating. The house is spacious with something for everyone to do. We look forward to this trip and can't wait for next year!!!! Also kudos to Patrick who always ensures that we get settled in and accommodated to the house!

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful family reunion again at this lovely, spacious home in Eagle Rock. Everything we needed for six of the family branches to come together and celebrate was provided and this year the 7 school aged children discovered the Equestrian Center and went for their first trail walk -- very mellow horses (and guides!) and very affordable as well. Cozy fireplace, great game room and plenty of room for both pictionary and ping pong tournaments. We had a great stay!

Best vacation in a beautiful house

We had an amazing family vacation weekend at this house. This almost new house is beautiful, elegantly decorated, and full of all things one would need for a great vacation. Big fully equipped kitchen, nice pool table, toys for both adults and kids and don't forget 5 or 6 furnished bed rooms. Everything was as described. The owners were so easy to work with. Excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Weekend Ski Trip

Weekend Getaway

This was a great place for a get away with our family and friends. We enjoyed skiing and snow tubing at the resort. We had a large group and it never felt like we were on top of each other. Great for all ages! Great house for a big group!

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house. It's an easy drive to Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski resorts (about 30 min). The house has so much room for everyone to have their own space and also plenty of space to all be together. The kids loved the ping pong table and we all loved being nestled in the woods. Karl made the process very simple and everything was communicated well. Thank you!

Family Reunion

This was our 3rd annual stay at a home which is very family friendly for all 3 generations. The teenagers went horseback riding again this year (very affordable) and all of us enjoyed long walks. The baby boomer generation took the ping pong title again at this year's tournament. One of the best features is the relaxed and friendly welcome the owner extends to our very large family, making it easy to enjoy the space thoroughly

Great Place to Stay!

We rented this house for an annual reunion getaway. This family friendly home was clean, comfy, and had all of the amenities you need! The open floor plan, well equipped kitchen, pool table, and ping pong table are a plus. It comfortably accommodated our group and has plenty of space. The lake and beach area with a playground is just a short walk from the house. The golf course at the resort was fantastic! The women in our group loved the spa! Karl, the owner, could not have been more helpful and eager to make sure our group had everything we needed. We enjoyed staying here so much we have already decided we can’t wait to return next year!

holiday vaca end of year fun!

Family gathering for end of year fun, relaxing and reflect of the year passed. Home had a family feel to it, spacious, with everything you need for a great time. The house had room for everyone. It is situated in a great area. The views are outstanding. Karl was wonderful. I called him several times to see what there was to do in the area, questions about the house etc.. He was very accommodating and offered lots of info. Great place to visit in the winter or summer. Look forward to visiting again!

Karl's home was large enough for me and my friends (14 adults). It was beautiful and spacious. We played pool, ping pong, taboo and card games in the house. We also used the resort's amenities such as kayaking, paddleboat, and canoe. We also took pictures around the beautiful views of the resort. Karl was very accommodating in terms of checking in on us upon arrival and he was easily reachable through phone call. Thank you for a memorable weekend getaway with my friends.

Open floorplan, great porch, close to beach

We had 3 families stay for MDW (15 total)...we all agreed the first floor layout was awesome. The pool table is on the main floor so we basically hung out together the whole time. Kitchen table fit us all and made for some great games (2 roll Yahtzee!) with everyone. Short walk to beach. Owner was very responsive. There's additional space and bedrooms down the basement so ask owner if you need more space! We didn't but if a 4th family came it would have been needed. Loved the screened-in porch and EagleRock golf. Course is in great shape.

Amazing Vacation Experience!!!

My family and I had the pleasure of vacationing at this property in the Eagle Rock Colonial Resort this summer. It was a wonderful and memorable week for the entire family. The grounds of the resort are beautifully maintained and we were able to take advantage of many of the activities offered at the resort. We swam at the beach and in the pools, used the boats, played tennis and golf and visited the horses in the equestrian centre! The resort is within driving distance of Hershey PA, so we took the kids for a tour of the Hershey Chocolate factory - I am sure they will remember this for the rest of their life. The house itself is spacious and well maintained. You will find the home beautifully decorated - just as pictured. We enjoyed gathering in the family area to play billiards and watch movies. There is a beautiful screened in deck at the back that allows you to enjoy the outdoors while eating or just relaxing. The feature that I found most impressive was the friendly deer that roam the resort. I have never seen a place where these beautiful creatures allow you to interact so closely with them. The owner of the house Karl is a super guy - very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend this vacation home for any family or extended family. It is a real gem!!

Wonderful vacation getaway!

My family and I rented this house for the weekend of December 13, 2013 and we had a wonderful experience. The house was easy to find and looked just like it did in the photos. It was very simply and tastefully decorated but yet was still warm and inviting (which is something usually hard to achieve with big houses). Most importantly, it was clean and neat. I went with my husband, kids and in-laws so we had a range of ages staying at the house - from seniors to a four year old and it was perfect for us all. There was a bedroom and full bath on the main floor which was greatly appreciated by my father in law who cannot manage stairs very well and four bedrooms upstairs with lots of sleeping space. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and enjoyed having their own space which they dubbed "the cousins' club". I was particularly impressed with the kitchen. We have rented homes several times in the past and usually, there aren't enough pots and pans (we like to cook when we're away) or sufficient cooking utensils provided but this place had it all. There were also TVs in all bedrooms as well as one in the living room (over the wood-burning fireplace). Wifi was available all throughout the house and I also had no problem with cell phone reception (this has been an issue in other areas within Eagle Rock). There is a nice and helpful young man from next door who acts as a caretaker of sorts who you can run to for assistance (there was a snow storm that weekend and the wifi router needed resetting) and also, the property owner, Karl, was very responsive and extremely pleasant to deal with from the very beginning and all throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this home especially if you're a big group. We'll definitely stay here again in the future!

Awesome, beautiful vacation house for family & friends!

The house is well-kept, clean, and beautiful. It is very spacious for a big family to vacation in. The owner, Karl, is also very nice, flexible, and is easy to reach and communicate with. He ensured that we received important information, via phone call and email, prior to check in and also followed up on us if we got in fine into the house. My family will definitely rent from him again and recommend his place to friends.

Great place for large families

Rented this place for 4 days during the New Year's. The house is spacious and very relaxing. The owner, Karl, is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for large gatherings. Would definitely rent this place again.

Launch house room for all room to sit and eat. Outdoor enclosed porch and Loud us to watch the deers that come by. Three bedrooms kept the ladies happy. Karl checked in on us and was very helpful and accessible.

The resort has so many things to do I never have to leave.

Quiet healthful nature outside my window,with deer,squirrels and turkey walking thru my backyard going to drink in my stream. I find myself staring out the rear window,losing myself to the view.
