Great place in a quiet little corner of Iceland. We found a lot to do nearby and the distance to other big sites was not far. The apartment was a little tight, but it was generally comfortable. We stayed in the summer and had to open windows to keep cool. Unfortunately the flies were a bit of a nuisance. It is understandable since the location is a farm. Our family really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.

A wonderful oasis in the west of Iceland. clean sheets, beautiful backdrop, and all basic amenities covered. previous clients left a decent amount of food & condiments for us to use and we did the same. Also borrowed some maps & guides of the area we were exploring. Ourhost Arny gave us some suggestions (if asked) and we were also allowed to pet the horses! thank you for being a most excellent vrbo host.

We really enjoyed our stay here\. The apartment is spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax after our days of exploring Iceland\. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep\.One of the highlights of our stay was the animals\. Having sheep wander up to the field in front of the house and being able to pet the friendly horses just outside the door made the experience feel truly special and uniquely Icelandic\.Although the property is about 30 minutes from Borgarnes, the drive is easy, and you’re close enough to enjoy the town while still experiencing the peace and beauty of the countryside\.We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay with a genuine Icelandic farm experience.

We had a fantastic stay. It was a bit of a squeeze for our family of 6 but the host made us aware in advance. Good value for money excellent communication and simple check in. Our children particularly enjoyed visiting the animals at the farm and the opportunity to go horse riding.

Great place for family!

We loved staying at the Farmhouse! Arny was super responsive and self check in fast and easy. Waking up among the sheeps (litterlly passing in front of the window) was great for our daughters aged 8 and 9. We truly recommend for family stay!

Great family accommodation.

This property was a great spot out in the beautiful countryside. It has spectacular views and was comfortable for my wife and I and our 3 older kids. Arny is quick to respond to any questions and keeps the place in great shape. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay in Iceland

I really enjoyed staying at this property (farm with horses and sheep). Especially good for families. Very nice location. Close to many sights. Arny (the hostess) is amazing! Best place during my 1 week vacation.

Lovely farm

Beautiful farm with amazing views. We had everything we needed, the kitchen had plenty of items to cook with, towels and bedding. The hot tub did not work and the shower pressure wasn’t great, however the sheep, horses and lovely owners made up for it.

Beautiful setting

I stayed here with my two daughters the first week of September. It's a great base location for exploring West Iceland. Borgarnes is about 20-30 minutes away, where you can stock up on groceries. Wonderful farm to table restaurant near by, pricey but highly recommend.

The setting and location will blow you away. Arny and her daughter are great. An issue with the water could have been handled better. Otherwise, a dream.

Beautiful Country Location

We stayed here in winter and loved it. Glacier tour is close by in Hustafel and had a wonderful horse back ride in nearby Budardalur. This house has great views and big windows. It was super comfortable for our family of four.
