This high desert haven sits atop a hill looking out over Fish Creek Cove and the north slope of Boulder Mountain. This naturalists hideaway on 40 acres of private land is truly an oasis in the desert. With Fish Creek running through the property enjoy wandering, meditating and exploring nature. The views from multiple decks are unforgettable. Comfortable, stylish and with all the comforts of home in a stunning setting. Enjoy stargazing the Milky Way and the star filled sky in this Utah Dark Sky location. A 10 minute drive to Capitol Reef National Park, 5 minute drive to the town of Torrey, a tiny town with delicious restaurants and great little art galleries. Forty five minutes to Boulder and Hell's Backbone Grill, 60 minutes from Escalante and so many more stunning desert locations. You'll love exploring the area or just staying on site for the coziest and inspiring red rock views in your own private spot.

Wonderful!

The location and accommodations were perfect. The views and location were perfect for getting away and just relaxing to get away from it all. I will definitely reserve another weekend or more in the future. Felt like a home away from home for sure.

Outstanding

The location is spectacular, with the cabin situated on a slope that offers panoramic, unobstructed views to the south, west and north. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is stunning in its interior design, extremely comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need (3 adults). The library is amazing, fully equipped for exploring the area. This is the best experience we've ever had with a vacation rental, and definitely plan to return.

Lovely home

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) really enjoyed our stay here! The house is a short drive from Capitol Reef and the cute town of Torrey but the property is worth it! There is a beautiful view and it is very peaceful. The house itself is very cozy and inviting. We loved playing the games that were available and watching TV when the weather wasn't the best. The beds are very comfortable, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the decks are the perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. My only suggestion is to update the pots and pans to make cooking and clean-up a little easier. We loved our stay here and would love to come back someday!

Breathtaking!

This property is simply breathtaking! It is located on a beautiful piece of property which is somewhat remote. The house is wonderfully equipped with everything you would need. It gives the feel of a warm, personal cabin with a welcoming vibe! We were able to see the Milky Way by walking out on the back deck at night as it was so dark. It is wonderfully located to explore Capital Reef and the surrounding areas. We happened to meet the hostess upon arriving who was very accommodating and very nice. I would highly recommend this cabin to for exploring the area.

Cute and well maintained place.

My only complaint is the AC was off when we arrived so it took the first night to get the temperatures down to something reasonable.

Amazing Views, Amazing Cabin

This is our favorite we’ve ever stayed in. It is very clean and has everything you could need. They even left us a bag of coffee beans as a gift. It’s decorated beautifully and it is very obvious that the house and property are well taken care of. We also really enjoyed exploring the property. Highly recommend!

Storybook cottage

It's hard to pick a favorite part of the cabin, but it was probably the reading nook in the sunroom. We spent most of our downtime in there. We'd spend 1/2 the day at Capitol Reef and the other half in the cabin because it was so relaxing and had such great character! A little slice of heaven, overall. Will definitely be back.

Comfy and Cozy

The views from the cabin were gorgeous. There was plenty of room for our family to hang out and sleep comfortably. It was also clean and well kept. We would definitely stay here again.
