Welcome to our much loved family bach, a perfect retreat for up to 10 guests. Situated on the beautiful Maraetai Bay reserve, our home offers stunning views of the bay and the mighty Waikato river.

The newly renovated modern kitchen, seamlessly integrated into the open layout, is a social hub for gatherings. Large windows fill the living space with natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Step onto the expansive deck to enjoy al fresco dining and breathtaking views of the reserve, sand dunes and river.

With four bedrooms, the bach comfortably accommodates 10 guests (up to 7 adults + 3 kids) providing a restful night's sleep with coastal-inspired decor.

Just steps away, the sand dunes await exploration, and the ruggedly beautiful Sunset Beach is a short two-minute drive.

Relaxing family holiday

Great place for a relaxing family holiday. Lovely outlook, hosts were very easy to communicate with. The Bach had everything required to enjoy and entertain the family, big and small.

Lovely spot by the dunes

Only stayed for the night but wish we could have stayed for longer. It's a characterful and surprisingly roomy bach with enough kitchen space to cook for our group of six. The dunes are definitely worth seeing, really beautiful.

Amazing memories

This batch is very cute and homey. They had a good amount of beds to accommodate everyone. Whilst the place may look small, I assure you that it felt anything but that. The amazing view and direct connection to the sand dunes, river, and beach, were amazing. A few things to mention though is that the front yard from the road is a bit unkept and the key box was a bit of a search to find, but other than these small issues everything was great. Thanks to this batch I was able to create such amazing memories with friends and family. Thank you to the hosts for being a part of such an amazing trip.
