The Incognito #1 is located steps from The Scotsman General Store and very convenient walking distance from downtown. Enjoy a stylish ground floor experience at this centrally-located AirBNB. The Incognito #1 is located in a historic building built in the 1940's that was originally a mechanic shop. This unit is newly finished. Included is a 1 Bedroom (1 King), 1 Bath ( Shower / Bath tub), Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave.

With this unit you will experience what made Laurel, Laurel. As you look out the unique architectural windows, you will have access to the rail line that gave Laurel its prominence while also carrying musicians and artists to New Orleans, Chicago, and all along the eastern coastal cities. We are very excited to share this experience with our guests. You will hear the train / Amtrak and also see its daily travels and enjoy the sites that it brings.

* Just as a note, the train tracks are located to the east. So you will hear the train occasionally. Also of note, most all of the AirBNB's in the Downtown Area are located so that you will hear the train. It is just one of the unique aspects of Downtown Laurel.

This is a stylish, well-appointed suite, with the uniqueness of being in an old historic industrial building. But, if you're the type that has difficulty falling back to sleep after being awakened, I think two freight trains came in overnight last night. They're up front about it and many downtown locations have the same issue, but it's an issue nonetheless. Hangers in the closet would have been nice, and a small dresser would have been appreciated, as would a couple of boxes of tissues. Finally, and I'm sure there's a "logical" reason behind the requirement, but my idea of hospitality does NOT include expecting ones guest to take out their trash when they checkout. If the noise isn't an issue, it's beautiful, comfortable, and a great value!

Best place to stay in Laurel.

Location was perfectly out of the way, but close to everything. We intentionally picked this place as it had good proximity to where we were focused on. It is very unassuming from the exterior, but the interior was 5 star. Great hosts, awesome accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Anniversary getaway

We took the train to Laurel for a 3 day getaway on our 40th wedding anniversary. The Incognito did not disappoint. It was clean, modern, well appointed and accessible. We would stay again. Thanks, Eric and Amanda!

Centrally located to downtown Laurel

The property was very clean and unique. Could see the Scotsman shop from the property. The train reminded us of home but in a good way. The bed was super comfortable, also reminded us of home. Would highly recommend.

Charming loft in Laurel

Great location and the best hosts! We enjoyed our time in Laurel at the Incognito. We had plenty of space to relax after a day of touring the downtown area. The property is located within walking distance of all the shopping and local restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

When we arrived, google kept taking us to an address a couple of blocks away, bt Eric included directions in his welcome email, and we followed thise right to it.When we arrived, there had been a slight mix up in the reservations, but Eric and Amanda were very gracious and quick to take care of the problem. You truly could not ask for better ir nicer hosts.The apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable. The bathroom is large and the kitchen has everything you need.Incognito would be our first pick if were staying anywhere in the area, and i would look for any other rentals owned by Eric and Amanda first!If we could give it ten stars we would.
