Tree Top Cottage on 15 wooded acres

Come and enjoy peace and quiet on our 15 acres of beautiful woods! We have different paths to walk, one of which leads to the gazebo overlooking the property and the fire pit. Inside the cottage you will enjoy both the tranquil ambience and our new amenities. Your relaxation will be enhanced by two window seats and a covered deck! We have a Traeger pellet grill on the deck for all of your grilling needs. The kitchen is fully stocked and we also have many games, books and puzzles.

Located only 1/2 mile from North Country Trail. Then continue down the seasonal road to the Jordan River. The cottage is within 20 minutes of Boyne Mountain for skiing or the SkyBridge and Bellaire for great restaurants and shopping. Torch Lake and many golf courses are within a 30 minute drive.
** If your group exceeds 10, then it will require the use of the smaller cabin and bathroom. (Sleeps 4 & only 30’ away) There is an additional $500 one time fee for this space. This fee will be added shortly after your booking.**

Trip of a lifetime

This beautiful property checked all of the boxes! It was secluded, clean, full of all amenities that you could ask for, and offered endless entertainment. A lot of thought went into the design and furnishing of this home, making for a wonderful experience.

Great home

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved playing in the woods and we all enjoyed our evenings by the fire. Our family created a lot of great memories during our stay. Thank you Chet for everything!! We hope to stay here again in the future.

Immaculate and Cozy!

Our family had such a nice time together at the Tree Top Cottage. The place was clean and tidy and everything felt well taken care of. The kitchen was stacked and we were able to make big dinners for our family at the end of a lake-filled day. The only issue we had was the place was advertised as sleeping 14 but you have to read the fine print and pay extra and bring bedding to actually sleep 14, so that was hard because we hadn't brought extra sheets. But we made due and enjoyed our time. Thank you!

Short stay

I rented the property with my family for 5 days. It was beautiful and the kids enjoyed walking in the woods. The day we checked in the air went out and it wasn’t able to be fixed the length of our stay. That made for some hot days, but luckily the nights were cooler. The owner tried his best to get it repaired, but no luck as the parts needed to be ordered in. We still enjoyed our time. The owner was very thoughtful and even offered to pay if we picked up some ac units. My brother in law had an accident in the small cabin and ended up breaking the sink (unfortunately needing stitches). We purchased insurance on the property and even offered to replace it, but the owner declined. He was very understanding. We had a great time at the beaches near by. Spent the days boating and making the best memories. It’s a nice place to unplug and recharge yourself! We look forward to coming back in the future!
