When not at the races close by it was very relaxing by the lake and felt pretty private considering there were other lodging spaces around the property! The pictures show it accurately! Our group was gone the during the days and being close to Talladega it was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable and the only need besides food was paper plates and plastic utensils. We hope to book it again next year.

Great outdoor space & locations!
9 of us (7 adults & an 11 & 13 y/o boy) in my family met up at this property for a 3 night stay in junction with going to Talladega for the races.
It was an ideal location to go back and forth to the track. The outdoor patio, yard, and dock & lake access were wonderful, especially due to having two young boys with lots of energy and a love of swimming & fishing!
The sunset on Friday night was magical.
Unfortunately the interior, although a plenty big enough space for all of us, wasn't super clean and lacked some basic items that would have have made the stay easier. There wasn't any dishwasher detergent, and as we needed to wash the dishes & kitchen items before we used them, not just after, that was frustrating. (That was one of the many things we went to purchase on our own to make the stay better!) Also there were barely enough dishes for the 9 of us for dinner (some used bowls for the lasagna) so can't imagine how 12 people would fare. The kitchen lacked some very basic things that are typically standard in other rentals we have stayed at. Salt, a toaster, the fridge wasn't very cold (old & doors didn't seal well), 1 partial roll of paper towels. No hot pads to take things out of the oven (that is how we heated up bagels for breakfast) and there was only 1 hand towel. Tons of light bulbs were dead. The A/Cs worked great, which was wonderful as it was in the mid-80s all weekend. The bath towels looked like rags. Floors were sticky upon arrival :(
