Great Location and Propoerty!

Great location! Located about a little over a block from the beach! Really easy to get to and from the beach. Property itself was wonderful. Well appointed and renovated like the description says. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need, including a pizza cutter! I read the reviews before our stay to be prepared. Some folks complained about the internet, we didn't have a problem. Could the internet been faster - yes. Could it have been slower - also yes. We try and unplug on vacation, so this isn't a big deal for us. Also, people had mentioned about the thermostat, so we packed light blankets and PJs, no issues there. You won't need heavy blankets and fleecy PJs! The toilet in the master bath runs, so you have to be diligent about jiggling the handle, other than that, no gripes. Would stay again!

Relaxing stay!

We just got back from a wonderful stay in Ocean City. The home was so nicely maintained and clean! The owner was very prompt in responding to my questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable Stay Close to the Beach

The property was very clean and as-described. The check in process was very smooth, and Anthony is accommodating and easy to communicate with. Plenty of space for our family of four, and it was nice to enjoy the back patio after the kids went to bed. There is also a nice outdoor sitting area at street level. We would rent this unit again as enjoyed the entire stay. A few things to be aware of specific to the property: 1) we couldn't get working WiFi in the unit and ran the internet through a personal hotspot all week. 2) The AC is set to not go below 72 so it was rather warm for our personal sleeping comfort. 3) The outdoor shower is off the back side of the downstairs unit, so using it felt like a strange invasion of privacy for the downstairs renters. We opted to use the hose at the bottom of the steps instead. Otherwise, all positives. Thanks!

Overall very good

We got the impression there were two parking places from the rental description but it ended up being only on street parking which is challenging. Also the WiFi was not strong enough to power a fire stick ( we used our cell phone for a “ hot spot “) Other than that the unit was very clean, neat and nicely updated! Great location, close to the beach and the boardwalk! Anthony was prompt when we thought the refrigerator was not working, but we all realized it just needed time to catch up to all our warm drinks, etc. to keep cold. We had a great week at the beach!

Small but clean with great location!

We had a great week at "The Dolphin House" the week before Labor Day. The house was very clean and the owner, Anthony, met us there. He was friendly and encouraged us to reach out to him with any questions or concerns while we were there as they live around the corner. We loved the location as we enjoy the gardens best in OC and it was the first block of the boardwalk with bathroom access at the first station. There is a great little deli, an good ice cream parlor and a terrific coffee shop within walking distance and a two min bike ride. The only things that were an issue for us (and no fault of the owner) were: 1) there is no garage for our beach stuff and bikes (he does have a bike rack out front but it isn't covered) 2) there is no porch or deck out front - only a tiny deck off the backside of main bedroom with the air condition vents on it 3) we had to share our outdoor shower with the family renting below and it seemed we always returned from the beach at the same time 4) and most importantly to my husband and kids - the internet only worked consistently in the master bedroom in the back of the house. Other than those things (which the first three are out of owner's control), we enjoyed the house and had a terrific week. We went to the beach, took our boys fishing on a fishing cruise, went to the boardwalk and had an absolutely fabulous time! ENJOY! :)

Great vacation rental. Condo was clean and comfortable. Close to beach and boardwalk. There was a deli around the corner. Great place for family vacation.

OCNJ Beach Rental

Fantastic rental!! Excellent communication & quick response from the owner! Close to the beach, Boardwalk, a deli/mini-mart, restaurant & ice cream shop! Hands down the most comfortable beds for a beach rental we've ever had. Very clean, & provides all the necessities needed. Beach tags we're offered for the week at a discounted rate which was an added bonus! Much thanks to Anthony & Kathy! We definitely will stay again!!

2015 Beach Vacation

Thanks to the rental owners and our wonderful beach rental, we had a very special vacation with our nephews! The house was clean, had all necessary amenities, and is in a great location (so close to the beach and Boardwalk)! Thanks Anthony and Kathy!

Post-season getaway

As former residents of Ocean City, we were very familiar with the area and knew where we wanted to stay. The location, in close proximity to the beach and boardwalk, but still in a quiet, residential neighborhood was ideal for us. The unit was comfortable, but not luxurious. Fine for an economical beach rental. The second floor unit we rented does have kind of an odd floor plan. The main drawback we had was the long flight of stairs to the second floor (which we are not accustomed to) and the somewhat awkward entry door right at the top of the stairs. Leasing, check-in and check-out procedures were all simple and went smoothly.
