Lovely views surround this estate; stroll through the vineyard, meander on the trails, be enveloped by the artistry of nature. Deer, rabbit and squirrel are frequent visitors, occasionally fox and pheasant have been known to stop by. Meandering isn't your thing? Step out the French doors, have a seat on the covered porch facing the St. Mary's river and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

Stunning interior with chandeliers, sweeping walnut stairway, solid cherry doors (some curved) and domed dining room ceiling constructed by a church builder await visitors indoors. Magnificent woodwork in this home was hand selected by the owner, a former lumberman.

Plenty of parking, 4 bedrooms--1 king, 2 queens and 2 twins (sleeping for 8), en suite bath in king, 2 half baths, and Jack and Jill upstairs bath allow comfort for everyone. Excellent opportunity for guests visiting nearby reception venues including The Eden and The Hayloft.

Fully equipped kitchen and Weber propane grill encourages guests to relax and dine in. Books, puzzles, cornhole and cards are included. Don't set the alarm, don't bother to glance at the clock, only know that time just progresses a little slower here...

Beautiful and serene.

This was a very peaceful property. The house is tastefully decorated and has a ton of character. The grounds are gorgeous.

Thank you, Nancy, it is a very unique home and property. My brother and I were blessed to have lived there after our parents built the home. Among other things, our dad was a lumber grader, so the woodwork you saw in the home was made from trees he selected in the forest. Our family sawed/milled the wood for installation in the home. We are so glad you enjoyed it!

This was an exceptional value, and ideal for my conditions. We had multiple family members show up, so having a large number of bathrooms and more than enough parking close in was great. The owners are very good to work with and responded quickly to my inquiries. The place was very clean and well supplied, it had elegance but it was still easy to use. We valued the privacy and security of the nice rural setting, and the area and grounds we were on were scenic and good for enjoying the outdoors. I also liked having the use of a garage. The rules were clear and well laid out. The things we needed and places we had to go within the city were within a reasonable driving distance. I was wondering if everything in the ad and the price were real, and they were. I would definitely consider this place again.

Our stay at the vineyard was wonderful. The home was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed being outside and walking the trails. Our morning coffee and breakfast on the back porch was highlighted by the view of the gorgeous garden and sounds of nature. The seclusion of the home allowed us to “get away” and relax! The grandchildren (ages, 6, 7, &. 8) had plenty of room to run and explore! We will definitely consider this lovely retreat again!

Rich History Scenic Location Beautiful Home

My children and grandchildren came for Christmas dinner. Each night 2 stayed with me. It will be fond memories for us all. This gave me an opportunity to do something I could have never done in our current Home. It was a stunning setting.

My daughter and Granddaughters stayed over weekend after Thanksgiving and loved the home. Was so upset my husband and I could not get over there due to weather. Would love to come during summer and will try to do so. They loved the atmosphere and the home itself. So I know I would have as well. Thanks so much for making things so easy and being so accommodating!

My parents built this home and loved living there. When my brother and I became the owners we felt others may wish to have the opportunity to enjoy this lovely home as we did.

This 32 acre estate has picturesque scenes of the St Mary's river, a working vineyard, and beautiful views of the countryside. The home is very private and perfect for friends visiting for a weekend get away, class reunion or to stay in town for a wedding or other event. Also ideal as a temporary home for individuals relocating to the area.
