Room dated and issues taken to long to resolve

Not as per the pitures in vrbo .Items are dated in apartment items broken when arrived.Just not mantian for the price.

Great Location !

Very well equipped condo on the third floor with a great view of the beach. The condo had everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves and there is a very nice Napolean bbq grill available near the pool.Note that there is an all-inclusive resort right beside the condo, so you do hear noise from events at certain times, but they don’t go late. The owner is very responsive to answer questions or deal with issues — usually answering within an hour.We would return in a heartbeat!

Good but room for improvement

The condo building and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and safe. It is in a great location right on the beach and just a short walk to many restaurants and shops. The unit itself feels a little neglected/tired and is lacking in some basic amenities that would make it more comfortable for guests.

Excellent Property, great location!

This is a great property in Jaco. It is right on the beach with direct access. The gated facility has security that was very helpful. The apartment was spacious with amazing views, bedrooms were big and comfortable, would definitely stay here again next time in town!

Beautiful Resort

We had a pleasant stay in Costa Rica at Jim’s Condo. The views were nice from the unit and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio each morning for breakfast. The condo is spacious and comfortable. You overlook the Best Western all inclusive which is lively with music playing thru the day at certain times, Things that would have made our stay better would have been beach chairs and an umbrella so we could have explored other beaches comfortably. Also a few other things that would have made the stay nicer would have been more linens and beach towels which I did mention to Jim. Once last mention is the condo needed a bit of TLC which are simple fixes but would make the stay nicer for renters. I would definitely stay there again since the complex is well cared for and the pool/ gardens are very nice.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Pictures do not do this place justice. Loved sitting on the balcony. Was surprised that they had english speaking channels on tv. Jim was very helpful with any questions we had. Loved his restaurant recommendations. Cant wait to return.

Sun and Surf in Jaco

Our family had a fantastic stay in Jaco at this condo. The condo is very nice, pool right by the ocean and you can surf right off the property. Building is safe and very close to everything in Jaco.

Amazing views and wonderful amenities

This is a wonderful place , no need to waste your time looking around. Acqua is everything it says it is and more ! The pictures are good, but in person the views are amazing . The place is clean , beautiful , spacious and quiet, but in walking distance to everything you need, just the perfect location ! Jims' condo is great and he was so helpful from start to finish ! The staff was fantastic ,including the staff at the pool, they were very friendly and helpful . I recommend atvbackcountrytours for great activities and Raquel restaurant for good prices ,close walk and good authentic Costa Rician food.

SPOILED "GRINGOS"

WOW, what a great time at your condo! Every bit as nice as your descriptions. You were most helpful with any of our requests. View from balcony was "picture perfect". Acqua staff was excellent, especially Jose, who organized five days of "tourist excursions". Recommend zip-line, ATV and "crocodile boat trip". Your dining recommendations were also great, including Graffiti, Poseidon, Green Room among others. Chi-Chis is new and directly across the street from Acqua, which was great for lunches. Local breakfast, street front, couple blocks up on opposite side street, was excellent. We were indeed 'SPOILED GRINGOS"!

Great vacation!

Acqua Residences are very nice, safe, and convenient. The staff all spoke English and were all very courteous and helpful. The front desk people arranged our day trips for us which made that very simple. The pools and common areas are all very clean and well kept. I would recommend adding some beach chairs that can be checked out by guests for use at the beach.

The condo was perfect for our family of four.

My husband and two sons (15 & 17) just left Acqua yesterday. The condo was amazing, the terrace was perfect for coffee in the morning and reading and having a glass of wine in the evening. We spent a lot of time at the beech and pool area, which was very beautiful. They groundskeepers keep everything so nice daily. We walked everywhere, all is very convenient. We did an ATV, zip line and waterfall tour that Jose at the front desk set up for us and we had a fabulous time. The boys took surf lessons from Pablo through Chuck at W.O.W. Surf, right down the street, and the boys were full on surfing in less than 45 minutes. We ate at this little cafe less than a mile away every morning for breakfast, next to W.O.W., because the food and coffee were amazing. The food in Costa Rica is spectacular, especially the Green Room, where we wind up eating twice because of the food, atmosphere and open mic night. I do not recommend getting a cab from the airport. We got a personal driver, Marco Berbardo, (mbernardo873gmail.com) and it was the same price as a cab. Air conditioned, clean car and very nice drivers. They even stopped at a fruit stand for us, and picked us up at 4:15 a.m. for a very early flight. We will definitely be back. Thanks Jim.

The condo was on the beach, the views were amazing...The breeze was nice on the balcony.

While I walked the beach, there were Macaws flying over. The condo had everything we needed, well supplied. The Balcony is great, the view is great you were almost on the water a favorite place for me to sit..The location was great you could walk to anything....the staff were very nice and helpful....

The property was well maintained and the management company was impressive.

I had left my sunglasses at the pool and went back the next evening once I realized it. The security guard at the pool had found them and put them in a safe place and graciously returned them to me.

Great Vacation Retreat

Hi Jim, It is our last night here and we have had a great time. As you promised, the folks here have been great and we will surely miss being here, but it is time to pack up and head down the road tomorrow morning. We plan to spend a couple of days at Manuel Antonio. We really enjoyed the balcony facing south. Sunny breakfasts and just enough shade in the afternoon while enjoying a refreshment. We always try to leave the places we rent in better shape than we find them but this was a challenge because it was so good. Thanks again for making your place available. S and G Canada

Beautiful Condo

What a beautiful place to stay while my sisters, cousin, and I visited Jaco. The condo, besides being beautiful, was extremely comfortable, very clean, safe, and a great place to come "home" too. The kitchen is large and the terrace is a wonderful place to have morning coffee, and evening drinks. The pool is amazing and we spent a lot of time there. Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Jim was extremely helpful from the time we booked the condo and during our stay. And the sunsets were the most spectacular I have ever seen. We would recommend this condo to anyone and would stay there again and again and again.......

Great vacay in Jaco at Acqua Condo!

My husband and 2 sons (10 and 12) had a week in Jaco at the Acqua Condos. It was a great time. The property was lovely, condo was great size, clean, good kitchen, pool wonderful. The location is at the nicer property end of the Jaco strip (which is really only about 3 km?) and we walked down to our surf spot each day with boards. The owner (Jim) was very helpful and air conditioning, wifi etc were great. We coudn't find a toaster (hahaha) but otherwise it had all we needed. (towels, beach towels, laundry, detergent etc). Easy walk to get groceries. (Food store was a bit limited but plenty of great restaurants for lunches and dinners too.) We would be happy to come back to this property and Jaco too. Pablo Romblo was our surf teacher and he gave us boards for the whole week so we could catch surf in am and pm. Go find him for surf lessons for sure! 5 star review from us!

Excellent security, great ocean view

The property is clean, it is a large and confortable condo, it is really secure, close to the beach and downtown. All the Property description is accurate, kitchen appliances are nice and Jim provides well detailed and helpful information about the condo amenities.

Fantastic Place!

The stay was outstanding, the Condo is large , clean, and modern and all equipped for your stay. The View is outstanding , Jim is very supportive to the guest needs and will communicate any questions you have. 24 hour gated Security also near the pool which is located steps from the ocean. Close enough to restaurants and shops and excursions but not in the middle of the scene perfect for a laid back stay. We definitely would return and recommend. Don't look elsewhere this is the one!

World class property

Such a wonderfully spaceous property. So well appointed and just a short walk from the beach. Be patient with the a/c system and Internet....it all works fine, but may be little bumpy at first. Jim solves all problems easily. We will stay again next year.

Nice condo, great pool, great people

Best location in Jaco Beach

My wife and I spent 2 glorious weeks in Jaco Beach at Acqua Residences and it was the perfect getaway. We walked every day on the beach and spent every morning and afternoon by the pool for an hour or two. The condo was well appointed and furnished with everything we needed. Grocery stores were an easy walk as were numerous restaurants open for breakfasts, lunches or dinners. We liked having the added security that Acqua provided but never felt at risk wherever we went. All the people we spoke with were friendly and helpful. Definitely repeatable

Nice place!

The condo complex and the condo itself were well maintained. There are a lot of security measures in place, but I didn't feel they were necessary. Everything we expected and needed for our visit was available in the condo. The owner had good communication. I would return to this condo. It is located right at beach front and has a very nice pool. Location was pretty good if you don't want a lot of activity directly around. The local businesses are very near by and an easy walk. I'd recommend Isaga and Taco Bar for lunch or dinner. The Mas X Menos is several blocks down where you can grab your groceries. We just used back packs to haul it back to the condo. Though, taxis are very inexpensive. Bikes are also a great way to get around. I'd also recommend trying out some surfing! All of the locals seemed very friendly and helpful.

Clean, good location, great hospitality, beautiful beach

Overall a very good experience at this condo. This establishment is very clean and we'll maintained. Close to everything going on in jaco. The owner of this unit goes above and beyond what is required of him to make sure your stay is comfortable .
