Overall a great place to stay, especially if you plan on visiting the Stockyards. A few concerns regarding the cleanliness of the sheets and towels provided, and the shower was very slow to drain. Checking in and out went very smoothly. Neighborhood is fine, but neighbors were loud during “quiet times”.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It looks exactly as it is pictured which was great, but it was not as clean as it should’ve been. When we first arrived, the bathroom had a strong smell of urine. There were crumbs all over the coffee table and in the leather chair. We got 3 towels, but only one wash cloth. When I asked for more wash cloths, it was not guaranteed, which ended up being that we did not get them. On top of that, one of the towels had makeup stains on it, so I’m not super sure how clean they were. I’m assuming the bed was also broken as we sunk into the middle of it. I will say, the convenience of the place to the stockyards is wonderful. The host was quick to respond for the most part and handled a shower draining issue that was requested previously. It could just use some improvement with the cleanliness!

Family visit

The property was as described, very clean. It was convenient to the interstate and surrounding areas. I was initially concerned about parking on the street, but there were no issues. The street is nice and quiet.

Great location

It's in pretty quite neighborhood only a few minutes from the stockyards. The ease of driving from there is what really sales it. But the property as whole is nicely done. Bedroom is separated from the living room and bathroom which is great. I wasnt crazy about the street parking but we didn't have any issues for the week we were there. The best value you can find in Fort Worth. I hope to stay again in the future.

Cute little place

The guest house was just as pictured. Cute, clean and in a great, convenient location. The a/c worked fantastic! Thank goodness cause Texas is HOT! Lol! The kitchen seemed decently stocked, but we didn't actually cook anything there. A couple extra blankets would be nice. And side note, the bed is on a bed frame, but sits very low to the ground. I can see that being an issue for older people or those with mobility issues. Just a heads up. It was however very comfortable! I would absolutely stay here again.

Would not recommend if you want to park in the driveway

If you are okay with parking in the street in an unsafe neighborhood then you should be fine staying here. They didn’t let us know that we couldn’t park in the driveway until we couldn’t cancel and get our money back. The shower pressure isn’t good at all. The front door HAS to have the top dead bolt locked or else it will literally fly open. The bath mat had spots on it like it wasn’t replaced or washed. The couch was filthy and the little seat was also dirty. Also it’s the summer and it’s hot, we kept turning it down to 68 while we were here and it would turn back up to 80 like the owner had control of it through their phone. I will say the only good thing is that the place smelt good like they just had cleaned. I do not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a safe neighborhood. Pay the extra 20-30 bucks for a better place.

I typically don’t respond to reviews because I fully believe guests should be able to voice their honest opinions. However, this situation is very unusual and I feel it’s important to clarify for future guests. Our listing clearly states that guests staying in the guest house must park on the street, not in the driveway of the main house. Unfortunately, this was an issue during this guest’s stay. After staying for two nights, they informed me they would leave a very negative review unless they received a full refund. I offered to refund any remaining nights if they chose to check out early, but they declined. I also confirmed with VRBO that our policy was correct and that a full refund was not warranted under these circumstances. I encourage future guests to please read our listing details carefully and look at our long track record of positive reviews. We work very hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and clearly communicated stay for everyone.
