Stay in this beautifully maintained original 1976 mid-century view home overlooking the Snake River, where space, comfort, and privacy set this property apart. With expansive river views—including the iconic Swallows Nest Rock—you’ll enjoy a peaceful setting just steps from the bike path and easy river access.



This spacious 5-bedroom home is thoughtfully designed so guests never feel crowded. Each bedroom is generously sized, giving everyone room to relax and unwind.

This rental property was nothing short of wonderful! The grounds are gorgeous with peonies everywhere! The space just feels like home away from home. The host was very attentive to our needs and extremely accommodating. It has everything you could possibly want. Hot tub, ping pong table, kitchen full of all serving dishes, pans, pots and basically anything you would need to make a meal, gorgeous views of the river and hills etc. Lots of spaces to sit, relax and visit. We will definitely be booking this house again. You will not be disappointed with this rental. Nothing like this one in the area.

The house was beautiful and so great to stay in. The views were stunning and the 70’s decor gave it an amazing touch. Ken and Janine were easy to communicate with and very caring. We enjoyed every minute of our time spent there

Perfect for our get together

This house is a great location to access the fishing in the Asotin area. The home is roomy and comfortable. Yes it’s dated but so are we. Myself and my family will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great Place to Stay!

This is a beautiful property that is very well equip. You feel like your back in the 1970's, but everything works great. The owner is great with communicating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a big group.

Very comfortable stay with well equipped kitchen. Great views of the Snake River and surrounding hills.Get ready for vintage 1970’s. Comfortably accommodating 8 adults. Ping pong table and 2 large screen TV’s were appreciated. Owners responded quickly to inquiries.

Excellent experience

We had a bunch of family come into town for a fishing trip, so we needed a large place to accommodate everyone. This property was close to where we needed to be and plenty big enough to house everyone! It was a home away from home, extremely comfortable and beautiful. The host was very responsive and kind!

Beautiful view and amazingly well kept place.

we had a great stay, the house was set up perfectly for our group of 10. We found a beautiful sand bar across the road for swimming. The view of the mighty snake river is truly amazing from any location in the house. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We are all coming back next year!

Stunning location with amazing view

We came to celebrate m wifes Brohers 50th wedding anniversary. Family came in from Texas as well as around Idaho. We have stayed in lots of properties. This one hands down is everything you nee. It is fully stocked with great dishes pots and pans utensils. Oh now the 4 king sizebeds are absolutely very comfortable. Next family get together up there we will be looking for this amazing. Place.

Lewiston tournament house

Absolutely awesome. Handled 12 players and three coaches exceptionally well. We could not have asked or expected anything more. Our host communicated throughout the process and made for a great experience! We hope to be back!

FABULOUS in EVERY WAY!

We are all experienced travelers and have stayed at VRBO'S all over the world. If you read ALL the ammenities including the 47 extras and the notes, they are ALL the best quality from the fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives, paper products, 2 coffee makers, to the high end mattresses, the excellent view and location. We were all 100% overjoyed with our stay, as the value was worth every penny. We can also recommend the SNAKE RIVER ADVENTURES river boat ride through Hell's Canyon.

I didn’t want to leave!!

What an absolute dream of a house! The view was so amazing, we ordered in so we could enjoy dinner at the house. Everything we needed was provided- I loved the abundance of towels. Sometimes we only have 5 which is hard when you have smelly kids. While some might not like the decor, it made me feel so safe and loved- it was like a flashback to my childhood. Please never change! Janine was so prompt in answering all of my questions and so kind to leave lights on when she found out about our later arrival. We will definitely be back.

Excellent property with the most amazing hosts! They’ve thought of everything. Well stocked with plenty of thick towels and lush high quality bedding on every spacious bed. Large pantry full of dishes to serve meals to a crowd. Kitchen has most small appliances which make a stay with a large group easier. Paper towels and tissues were available every where we turned, closets have plenty of hangers. Lots of unique seating areas even when you need a few minutes away from the group. Hot tub was spotless. Towels provided in the spa gazebo attached to home. Games in cabinets above the desk. Only one step to access the home which made it possible to stay there with our handicapped mother but no beds on main level will accommodate a disabled person as is (although they are comfortably high for tall adults!!) We loved the easy access to the walking trail along the river and the ability to use the space as a gathering place for our family gathering for a wedding in nearby Lewiston. Janine & Ken were the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. They take impeccable care of this family home full of treasures which take you back to life in the 70’s & 80’s but could be new with how well they’ve been preserved. I would recommend this property wholeheartedly!!!

We loved this home. The king beds are a great touch. They were comfortable and clean. The large tvs were smart and had the apps we were looking for to be able to watch the World Cup and nba finals. The view is gorgeous with the Snake river flowing by. My kids and I enjoyed feeding and petting the goats pastured on property. The kitchen had everything we needed. We even played croquet. Highly recommend.

We have rented vacation homes many times over the years, and this house, the view, was so beautiful, and accommodating, it really impressed me how clean and well kept, someone obviously loves their home and takes much pride in it. We cannot wait to book another stay, what a perfect vacation

My husband Ken and I are Wheat Farmers in Asotin County. We live nearby the property. I also have a small lavender farm.

We absolutely love hosting groups and families at The Riverhouse. It is just amazing to see where people come from and what brings them to our valley.

This is a family property. The home was built
By Ken’s mother in 1976. She built the home to accommodate family for the holidays and entertaining at all times. The view and location are magnificent . She left us a couple of years ago and we cannot bear to not have this piece of our family history in our lives. Like her, we want to share it with large families and groups. It is the PERFECT place to be together yet have plenty of personal space. The property was also planted and designed by her. Gorgeous trees . Heirloom peonies and beautifully naturalized grounds. It is its own little oasis. We are happy to offer it to you. We still use it for our family occasions. We hope you love it as much as we do. It is quite pristine and we have left it predominantly in its original 70’s style with our ranch/farm history downstairs. A great place to be!

The Riverhouse is VERY large and spacious. The bedrooms are sizeable . Plenty of spaces to relax in. You certainly don’t feel crowded into a house. You have lots of surrounding property, so you don’t have next door neighbors. You do have a pasture with a couple adorable goats and occasionally a horse and colt. The entire front of the house showcases our beloved, Mighty Snake River. It is fun to watch the river traffic for sure!
