Blue Moose Cottage - A peaceful paradise of Alaskan awe and allure.

Visitors say, "How do you ever leave this place!" The cottage is located on a lakeside homestead that we call, Selah Rest Orchard, a U-Pick-It orchard, with apples, plums, cherries, haskaps, currants and raspberries. It is surrounded by natural forests and inspiring mountain views, just 3 miles from world-class fishing on the Little Susitna River, 25 miles west of Wasilla.

Great place to stay!

My first solo trip was to Alaska and stayed here. They were great, very kind, and responsive. Beautiful and clean property with a great view. Highly recommend staying at the Blue Moose Cottage!

Alaska vacation

Very clean cabin! Lovely hosts! Wasilla is a nice town (Larsons Pizza is great!). We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to come back.

Thank you Hannah for the pizza recommendation! We haven’t been to Larson’s Pizza ourselves. Will have to give it a try. Glad you enjoyed your stay, despite our final week of spring snow melt. The ice went out on the lake today. You were the best guests and always welcome back.

The best weekend in a very long time.

I would highly recommend this cozy cabin for a romantic getaway. The cabin was clean ,fresh and inviting. You have the feeling of privacy and the togetherness. I would definitely stay here again.

Super cute cabin!! Very clean. Great directions and easy to find. Kitchen fully stocked and loved the coffee maker. Only issue was my adult son stayed and the roll out cot was Very Uncomfortable . He slept on couch. Was very happy with shower. Lovely Christmas lights. Great communication
