Great location, responsive management!

We were able to walk to slopes! Gas fireplace stopped working and we called management - they sent someone over immediately and it was fixed within the hour. Condo was comfortable. A little dated but accurate to the description online. Hot tub was great, not crowded!

staying at Shadow Run was a great experience. The staff at the management office was very friendly and accommodating. The condo was in great condition and very clean. The property is great with a nice hot tub and pool on site. I will definitely stay here again! I also found the app very helpful and handy. Great experience overall!

Positive things - great location, plenty of towels, shampoo, soap etc. No issues with hot water. Things to improve - missing/burned out light bulbs, blinds in living room inoperable, kitchen supplies, especially dishes and glassware, not aligned with number of occupants the unit is advertised to support.

The place was clean, location was great and the staff from Mountain Resorts were beyond awesome but the place was not very well equipped for in the kitchen.

The staff at Mountain Resorts were all very friendly and efficient. They even granted us early check in which helped us settle in before our ski day the next day. The check out was just as easy. Our disappointment lies with the unit itself, which was booked through VRBO and is individually owned. The unit is way overdue for an update. It's quite dated but worse, hasn't been tended to. Slats were broken off the vertical blind in the living room, shower was missing grout. The bench at the kitchen table had a broken leg. We almost injured ourselves sitting down. The kitchen lacked so many basics like more glasses, no measuring spoons, very small amounts of pan & bowls. There were no spices except garlic salt. The "artwork" was photos that were out of focus. The TV remotes were mis-marked, so we struggled for a while trying to figure out how it all worked. All the furniture looks like it is from the 70's and some mis-matched. It felt as if the owner never checks on this unit. The overall condition = poor value.

Not as described

Our experience at check-in was a disappointment. I showed up at 1pm and was told that the condo would not be ready till 4. (The advertised check-in time). The condo was not available until 6pm. The condo was advertised as recently updated. This must have been a joke. The only update was the Formica countertop,in the kitchen and the sink. The kitchen lacked adequate silverware and the only drinking glasses were very small juice glasses. The blinds in the living room were missing about a third of their slats and you could not close for any privacy. The couch was not the nice one shown in the photo and the recliner was not always in working order. The two lamps in the master didn’t work. One of the plugs in the guest room didn’t work either. The furnishing looked tired. On the bright side, the skiing was great. I’ll come back to Steamboat, but not this condo.

Unfortunately our checking experience was very horrible. We weren’t able to check in at 4 PM because the room is not ready and it wasn’t ready for over two hours later. We had groceries and kids and had to sit in the lobby while we waited for our room. Apparently check in is “from 4pm”. Mike, who said he was the front desk supervisor, was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me. He told us how they were busy and we just have to wait. I talk loud because I have a hearing problem and he sternly told me in front of others that I didn’t have to yell. I told him I had a hearing issue. He negated that I was a paying customer. I travel all year and have never had such a horrible experience checking in!

Great stay

Great stay! Clean condo, convenient location, kids enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked making it easy to cook. The towels in the bathrooms even had cute rabbit ears...nice touch.

Steamboat Ski Weekend

Mountain Resorts doesn’t disappoint! The location was great with multiple bus and shuttle options or just a 0.75 mile walk to the gondola. The condo was a great size with a full stocked kitchen. The hot tub is always a great addition after a long ski day. We will continue to use Mountain Resorts again and again.

We had an awesome time at Steamboat and this condo has a great location. The location is close to the slopes, restaurants and the grocery store. It was clean, updated and comfortable. The only few complaints are the tiny master bath shower, creaky bunk beds and broken, very uncomfortable pullout couch. There were also times that the hot tub was locked. There were plenty of towels, ample kitchen supplies and maintenance was prompt when we needed assistance.

December 2016 Stay

We found the folks at Mountain Resorts to be extremely accommodating, super nice and helpful. We will for sure rent through them again. We learned a few things that would have been nice knowing up front... Shadowrun was comfortable but a bit dated (bathrooms mostly). But we waited late to book for this trip so it was slim picking for what was left. Book early for Christmas! The bus system was very easy to use during the day but not at night. Took us on average about 45 minutes to get home from down town. I would recommend staying in a condo that includes shuttle service. We really like Steamboat and will return and will stay in the Gondola Park area.
