This condo met all our expectations and more. The owner had went above and beyond in the little things she did. When we arrived, it was clean and exactly like the pictures but there were also all the welcoming touches like the personal toiletries in the bathrooms and helpful info about the area. We had stayed at the Royal Mauian before so we knew how nice the location and condo complex were. It is our favorite because of the turtles on our doorstep and also the wonderful shops across the street. We were in Maui during the tsunami scare so we were grateful that Susan was there for us in all ways. She kept in touch and was there for all our questions. Loved our stay and would totally recommend this condo for a great vacation in Maui.

Great location

The Royal Mauian is in the heart of Kihei with lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. We loved staying on the ground floor and being able to walk out to the beach easily with beach chairs and bags. The unit is very private without much foot traffic in front of it and came well equipped with everything we needed.

Spring break

This property is very clean and has all the accessories for beach you will need. The bed was comfortable, and there is air conditioning in the unit. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star property is there is no view, and people walk by the lanai to get to beach.

We had a fantastic 65th birthday for my husband, rooftop dinners, close to the beach, and fully stocked kitchen. The pool was very cold and not much room.

It was Perfect!

Our family of 4 stayed here and it was perfect. Steps from the pool and beach and across the street from shopping and food. The condo was comfortable and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and it was a great size for our group. We loved Kihei in general and will absolutely stay in this condo again.

Perfect Place for our family

The place was perfect for our family of 5. Place was very clean and beds were so comfortable! The outdoor area was beautiful and watching the turtles swimming in the water was a fun experience. The rooftop grills and tables were a perfect way to have a nice home cooked meal while enjoying the beautiful sunset. All directions from Susan were easy to follow. She answered questions promptly when needed.

Wonderful stay on Maui!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Maui. The condo was exactly as described and it was the perfect home base for us. It had every essential (and more), not to mention it is so conveniently located to food, beaches, etc. (Plus, seeing the sea turtles close up will forever be a treasured memory for all members of our family!) We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Great Option for Family of 4

Location of this condo is great and the set up worked perfectly for our family of 4. Right nearby some perfect family beaches. Across the street is Auntie Snorkel and the Cinnamon Roll place, which we stopped at multiple times. Being on the ground level saved us a lot of trips up and down stairs. In-room laundry allowed us to pack light for this trip. Rooftop BBQ was a nice benefit.

Great stay in Kiehei

Great condo in a prime spot. Beaches nearby are beautiful and great for snorkeling and swimming. Location is also centrally located to other amazing beaches. There are restaurants close by, places to rent gear. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. I hope to stay again!!

Great amenities and close to the beach!

We spent five days at this property and enjoyed the beach proximity, location and rooftop dining and sunset views. Good layout and relaxing space with everything needed onsite!

Fantastic spot

Perfect spot - no not ocean view but it was perfect to have the shade on hot sunny days. If you are wanting to see the ocean it is just 15 steps to the condo’s lounge chairs. Condo was very well stocked for the 10 days we were there. Appreciated having containers and spices available.

Turtles!!!

We chose this rental because the listing said there were sea turtles you could see from the property. I can’t believe the number of turtles we saw every day! The unit was great- it was incredibly well-stocked with essentials and beach supplies, very clean, and the grounds and pool were great. We loved being able to walk to the beach right from the ground floor. Every morning and evening we would sit out on the lawn and watch turtles and the sunset. We happened to be there when the fires started and Susan reached right out to us making sure we were feeling safe, which we really appreciated. We thought Kihei was the perfect town for our family and we would definitely stay at the unit again.

Just what we were looking for!

This condo had it all and more! My family of 6 really enjoyed our stay in Maui and the condo was clean, close to everything, and just what we needed! It is literally steps away from the beach and ocean view. My family loved sitting outside and watching the sunset each night from the lounge chairs! Susan was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. The rooftop patio was really cool. If we ever get back to Maui, this is where we'll stay!

Beach Sunsets and Sunrises

We had an amazing stay. The location of the condo being on the first floor worked really well for our family and all the bags we had to tote for excursions. The Lanai was so convenient for that quick trip to the beach to peak at sunrise and then running back for that second cup of coffee. The condo had everything we needed and the air conditioning units really helped to give that break from the hot sun.

Terrific condo

We had a terrific island experience in Susan’s condo. The proximity to restaurants, stores and the beach was amazing. The condo was clean and perfect for our family of 5. Lived the rooftop patio for eating and grilling. The sunsets from there were beautiful. Thanks to Susan for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

As our two boys have gotten older, we wanted a place where we could all meet, relax and play together. (Parker teaches on Oahu and Spencer lives and works in the Seattle, WA area). It took us nearly 2 years to find the ideal property - Royal Mauian. This gorgeous beach-side condominium is well-maintained and walking distance to everything. There is so much to do for all generations. We can walk to a variety of restaurants and shops. There are several beaches within walking distance depending on what we want to do - swim, paddle-board, surf,snorkel or just lay in the sun. We were lucky enough to be able to do a complete remodel when we purchased the home including all new walls, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. making it feel like a brand new home. There are no party-walls and windows on 3 sides making it feel like a single-family home. Since we are not in a position to be there full-time, it made sense to share it through vacation rental and we are so glad that we did. We have made many friends and have many repeat Guests that now feel like family.

While Seattle is beautiful and green in the summer - it can get pretty gray and dreary from the fall through the spring. We love to come to Maui for a 'sunshine break'. It really improves everyone's mood. The water is great for swimming and other water sports. Royal Mauian is perfect for us - the sandy beaches are right there and the lava outcropping is great for snorkeling and scuba diving - a hobby we all share. Recently we started naming the turtles that live off the shore. We also love to watch the mama whales and their babies during whale season, but we have not started naming them yet...
