Paradise Point I is a beautiful chalet with large windows so the view can be enjoyed at all times. As a one bedroom it is a fantastic place for a little getaway. Everything worked properly; the bed was comfy, the tvs worked, wi-fi worked, and the hot tub was the best of all! Was also able to wash most of our clothes before returning home and took advantage of the pool pass at South Baden on 2 days of our stay. Quiet and cozy place but also 5 minutes from the parkway.

2 Tickets to Paradise

We were here for our 2-year anniversary and have stayed at several different Mt. Laurel cabins over the past 7-8 years. We've never had a bad experience and this trip was no different. Our first time at Paradise Point, I really enjoyed the 2nd floor walkway to the elevated/covered hot tub. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Wasn't a huge fan of the bathroom door being completely see-through. Especially when there's only 1 bathroom. Could lead to some potentially awkward moments.The kitchen area was great, upstairs was nice and enjoyable with a couple games of pool. TV's were nice and the sitting area outside is great. Nice view, semi-secluded but not too far from the Parkway, maybe a 5-6 minute drive. Overall very satisfied!

Disappointing

Showed up kind of late on Saturday evening. We had all grilling food because the listing said it had a grill and the grill did not work. So had to order in the next day went and bought a grill. Went to take a shower on Sunday morning and the hot and cold water in the shower is mixed up. Also the hot and cold water is mixed up in the laundry room. Ruined it very nice shirt that I really liked. Hot tub looks about 1012 years old needs attention pretty much falling apart on the outside. Just remodeled and very poor remodeling. Definitely not worth the money.

Yes! Paradise point is a fantastic place to say if you want to be close to the downtown area and activities that Gatlinburg has to offer. We love the large windows in the living room that allow you to see the beautiful view, and the hot tub is only a short walk away underneath a quaint little gazebo. This is the perfect place to stay for a quiet couples weekend getaway, and we are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us. We hope to see you again soon!

Paradise Point Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were several issues with this chalet that would make me to not recommend to others. First the pool table upstairs is not level and the pool sticks need replacing, one of the eyes on the stove doesn’t work, the replacement toaster we received was not very good, the overall cleanliness of the cabin was not very good. Dust on bathroom fixtures, moldy looking shower curtain that was too long for the tub, dust under bed had been there a while. We did like the bed but the sitting couch cushions were worn. We could not adjust the hot tub temp and had to add water to it, felt this should have been done already.. it seemed we were in Bear city. Two nights there were bear marks on our van but luckily no damage. A bear did break the small clasp to the waste can and took the whole trash can down into woods below entrance and it had happened before cause there was trash there when we arrived. Do not like the Ivy that is growing on the trees below the chalet. This is an invasive species and should be removed. Hope this helps. We have always stayed with ML but it seems service has deteriorated. Sincerely James Jolly

Fun get away to the mountains.

The young lady’s working in the office were nice-sweet and very helpful. The reason for this visit was to hiked Mt LeConte. Beautiful hike we were out on the trail at day break to beat the crowd. We will definitely be renting from this company again and have told our family and friends.Thank you Mountain Laurel chalets for the box of jelly-candy-popcorn etc. hopefully be back down in a couple of months for more hiking.

Smokey Mountain Anniversary in ‘Bear Country’!

Reviewer Comments: This was my wife and I’s 1st Anniversary trip, and we went during the Thick of Covid in 2020, but I have to say that nothing dampened our trip! We had a great time at Paradise Point 1. The Cottage was just perfect for a couple of 2, and it was quite private. We enjoyed the fire place/hot tub/ and all the amenities. The staff was also very accommodating and if there was something missing where they could help...they did. *Only thing I would maybe mention is that the dishwasher leaked a lil at the time, and their could of been some additional work done elsewhere. Nothing too major though. Best part though besides the great Smokey hikes, Gatlinburg festivities, and Mount Laurel Chalet was The Bears! -My wife and I had 5+ sitings during ‘bear season’ and 3 close encounters. 1 of which was in the backyard!Can’t wait to come back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We overall enjoyed our stay and would like to point out a couple of issues. The road leading to the property is horrible. Ascending to the location there is a switchback which at night places you in the headlights of downward traveling vehicles. You are blinded and there is no guard rail or shoulder separating from the steep slope. Another issue is the key pad for the front door lock. It frequently took 4 or 5 attempts to open the door. This was with us using the correct code, one evening standing in the rain. No fun. I contacted management the morning after the rainy night adventure and was told they would have someone check it. She thought the key pad might be misaligned. It would also be helpful if the instructions clearly indicate the locking of the door only requires you to press any number. The last issue is the inside table. It is a small high-top that is barely large enough for two cereal bowls, two coffee cups and two drinking glasses. One morning we ate breakfast on the deck and it was quite nice - but that's only appropriate if the weather permits.

Thanks for the review and we are sorry to hear you had so many issues with the roads and the keyless lock. The route you were given is the shortest. There is another way to get to the cabin but it is twice as long. We regret if there was a misunderstanding with the operation of the lock and will look at changing the instructions. Relaxation and Recharge

The stay was nice except for the spa. The Bromine in the spa was so strong it gave us skin burns. We looked up Bromine to discover this is a toxin which causes respiratory and skin problems such as cancer, burns, and rashes. We recommend the home owner or property manager do a better job of treating and regulating the water for the convenience of the guest. As a former spa owner this was a disappointment. We also expected a hair dryer which was not found on property.

The cabin was very nice and very reasonably priced.The only small caveat is the kitchen is a little dated, but otherwise we loved it! I would stay here again, but only in the off season, (if there is such a thing), when Gatlinburg is not so crowded!

Please consider coming back in the spring or early summer. This year, mid-April to mid-May would be ideal because the wildflowers would still be in bloom and spring break would be over. The great thing about your own cabin is being able to get away from the mobs of people downtown. Oh, and the weather is MUCH better! We hope to hear from you soon.

Cozy Cabin Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this rental the week of August 10th, the cabin was nice & clean, nicely decorated with a comfy bed & nice jacuzzi set up outside.Although we enjoyed our stay we wanted to get a late checkout & that didn't work out too well check out is 11am we got till 12 but not really because the key needed to be returned by 12, this after they said the key had to be back by 12 "not a minute later" we wanted the check out till 130 they said it would be an additional $100 dollars highly over priced & not worth it had they been nicer we would have stayed simply because we had the time to kill & didn't want to sit at the airport, it was a lovely cabin but because of their attitude not likely we would rent from them again.

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed the cabin. We regret that we were unable to extend your check-out time beyond noon. There are many things that must occur between rentals and we need that time to get our people in the cabins for housekeeping and general upkeep purposes. There are many scenic drives between Gatlinburg and the airport that could have easily filled half a day. We hope you were able to discover some of those and enjoy the drive.

Relaxing in the woods

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we rented Paradise 1, it’s an aww moment when u enter the chalet. Just the right size for 2. Nicely decorated. Gas fireplace starts with ease and gives the living room the right ambience during cocktail time. Hot tub second floor outside along a short walkway. Another great feature. Small bar upstairs as well as a billiard table if you feel the need for a little competition. Short ride into town where you’ll find everything u need for a great vacation.
