Mangomiel is a boho-chic property in the heart of El Paredon

Juan Miguel and Paola are partners and decided to get this piece of land because of the beautiful Mango tree that is in the middle of the property. Juan Miguel is a renowned Guatemalan arquitecto and designed and constructed the house. It’s well thought to have a relaxed, connected to nature experience, where you can find different spaces in the house to enjoy. You can see the ocean and enjoy a sunrise while practicing yoga in the terrace. You can work or read from the living room, or have a nice swim at the swimming pool under the tree.
We both have enjoyed the creative process of offering and unforgettable and hotel-like experience in every bedroom.

El Paredon is the most popular beach to go to in Guatemala. You will find all kind of activities like surfing, paddle or kayak in the mangrove, yoga and meditation practices and different restaurants with international food. It’s not an all touristic-town, so many locals live here and will allow you to get to know more of Guatemalan culture.

At El Paredón it is common during high season for there to be electricity outages because it is a small place and sometimes the electrical transformers are overloaded. These situations are out of our hands but we have protocols to report it to the electrical company as soon as they happen.

To counteract the inconveniences that this may cause, we have a power plant that is used in a rationed manner to ensure that the house has basic services, until the electricity is restored. We always appreciate your understanding.
