374 Karen Drive was an excellent home to stay in. All the appliances are new and modern, the layout of the property was very comfortable and easy to get from one room to another, and the location was fantastic. Walking distance to the center of Alpharetta, and easy access to the local highways. Could not have been a better property.

House was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space, safe quiet neighborhood, nearby food options. The floor plan was a bit odd with two bathrooms downstairs and one bedroom but we made it work. That would not keep us from staying there again.

Overall, the property was unkempt, the coffee pot was moldy, and the washing machine was broken and didn't work the entire time. The outside deck and patio furniture were dirty, and the living room windows had cobwebs. The couch is low to the ground and difficult for four 70-year-olds to navigate. We drove 1800 miles in five days with six days of clothes for my nephew's wedding. The solution the property manager offered us regarding my clothes that was sitting in the washer soaking wet, was to send the clothes to the dry cleaners, which they wouldn't be ready until the Monday we were checking out. The second solution was for us to spend hours in a laundromat on the day of the rehearsal dinner. He stated he had the machine repaired in September and it has been used without complaint. However, today, as we were checking out, he stated that we didn't have to worry about the repairman because he had to order parts. This led us to conclude that the washer had not been repaired.The property manager Mason was rude and condescending. We were told our stay would be heavily discounted; however, we have received no communication or refund on our credit card. VRBO was of no help, as I contacted them upon leaving. I do not believe any of the reviewers for this property.

Cute & comfy- great location.

We stayed for a few days while our home was being repaired. Very cute and comfortable home to stay for a family of 5! Kitchen was well stocked and had tons of counter space!

Great stay in Alphretta

Location was great! Less than a mile to downtown Alpharetta. House was newly renovated. Great decor. Beds were comfortable. The only downfall is that it is a tri-level so would have been beneficial to have handrails on the staircases for older guests. We had a wonderful stay!!

Great Stay

Newly renovated, great location! The check in and check out process is pretty simple and smooth. I had to send msg to ask for check in instructions and WiFi info. Although It took a bit time for host to respond back, it all worked out at end.

The property was originally advertised as having an enclosed fence for dogs which it did not. This has been updated on VRBO site. The flooring was pulling up off the floor and furniture was somewhat beat up and not as shown in pictures. In the end the hosts were accommodating to offset the discrepancies.

Wonderful Stay!

Highly recommend this new fully renovated property in an awesome location. Property owner was great to work with and very accommodating. One thing to consider if you have an elderly parent like we did during our stay. There are a short flight of stairs that made it really difficult for our mom to get around. Everything else was great!

Wedding weekend

The house is a very cute and clean property that has many upgrades throughout. The bathrooms have all been upgraded along with the kitchen. Large TV's in every room along with WiFi throughout the home. It was a great location to meet our daughters who drove in for the family wedding and enjoy some time together with our adult children.

Unexpected stay

Booked with VRBO for a funeral in Atlanta. The house was clean, updated and very adequate. In a good neighborhood and very close to everything in Alpharetta. My only suggestion would be a binder/booklet with info about the property (i.e. WIFI password, restaurant recommendations, things of interest in the local area, etc. Notes about if coffee and drinks are complimentary. And then maybe a few extra towels, pillows blankets.

Awkward configuration

The primary bedroom and bath was located on the lower level and both were large but the third full bath was also on the lower level two flights away from the other three bedrooms making it awkward to use. We were there for 4 nights and there were not enough towels for the group it was advertised to accommodate.

Adequate

Looked wonderful on the inside until we saw the filthy bathroom tub and shower curtain and bathmat in the upstairs bathroom . Not to mention the dirty pillow case on our master bedroom bed. After contacting the owner they did remedy those items, but after seeing reviews that said excellent I was disappointed.

Prior to arriving, communication was smooth. At check in, we were given a code to a lockbox with two hard-copy keys. We would have preferred to just have a coded entry instead of needing to remember keys every time, but it worked. The neighborhood was great, walkable to several good restaurants, and safe! We did a concern the morning after we arrived with the microwave not having any power. We reached out to the owner with no response the entire week. I also reached out asking for check-out instructions and we received none so just guessed at what we were suppose to do. Overall the house was great - one large master, two good sized rooms with queens, and a 4th room with a pull-out. We made that all work. I just would have preferred slightly better communication after check-in.
