Hidden Gem, Perfect Location

At first glance I just knew this place was the vision of professional designer, but the host, Andre, said he just went with what he liked! Available day or night, Andre was the most pleasant young man, a wonderful host. We had a marvelous visit. It was so quiet here. The neighborhood was beautiful with lots of new shopping and dining closeby. They are centrally located to so many fabulous areas. MGM Grand in one direction and Colonial Beach (VA) going south. Anyone planning a trip to Washington, DC, will be amazed as to how easy it is to get in and out of town from here. Clean, safe, and affordable. 100 % THE PLACE TO STAY !

Very bad experience, we arrived late due to flight delay and within 15 minutes of checking in, cockroach in the bathroom and a baby roach crawling on the kitchen counter. We took pictures for proof and left immediately. We had to find last minute accommodations for the week elsewhere, which is inconvenient since we booked this home a few months prior. The listing of the home is accurate as described but we couldn’t enjoy it because of the roach infestation problem. The host offered to have the exterminator come back out again, if we wanted to stay, which we declined. We received most of our money back except 175 which we are still working on with Vrbo to get back.
