Slow down, unwind, and savor your time in the spectacular setting of Sand & Stone Beach Cottage, a waterfront retreat gorgeously situated at the edge of Puget Sound. With a beautiful patio out back, stunning views of Pickering Passage and Harstine Island Bridge, and two single kayaks provided for serene morning paddles, this is the perfect place for blissful solitude or a memorable romantic getaway.

This single-story cottage sits at the end of a long drive lined with fir and cedar, in a bayfront setting frequented by ducks, deer, bald eagles, even the occasional orca. The gentle waves of Puget Sound lap onto your private stretch of shoreline, making it a lovely spot to put in the kayaks - perhaps to venture out to Hope Island Marine State Park. Life jackets and sand buckets, molds, and shovels are also provided for your use.

The interior is a lovely, calming space, full of natural light, the homeowner's original artwork, and picture windows framing the breathtaking view. Watch the tides come and go as you curl up in the living room with a favorite novel, a warming fire, and a good movie streaming in the background.

Prepare homemade meals with ease in a farmhouse-style kitchen complete with Shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a farm sink, and a plethora of cookware and utensils. Spend summer afternoons barbecuing on the patio and crisp evenings dining indoors at the vintage painted table. In addition to the bedroom with its plush linens, there's a bonus sleeping space in the living room. Complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer are provided as well.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
