Apartment in Skólavörðustígur, with private parking

Our apartment is located in Skólavörðustígur, the most popular area in downtown Reykjavik. Just few meters from the popular landmark, Church Hallgrímskirkja. Kol Restaurant is just around the corner, Krambúðin grocery store also. Everything that Reykjavik has to offer is in walking distance. Outside next to our building we have private parking for one car. It's a very nice apartment and superb location in Reykjavik.

You have private entrance to enter the building, our apartment is on the 2nd floor, I'm afraid there is no elevator. We have two bedrooms, the master bedroom has Double Size (140x200cm), the second bedroom has two single beds ( 90x200 cm ) that can be put together as King size bed. On the top floor we have TV room with big and nice sofa where one can sleep and we can also put in there single bed. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. In the living room we have fireplace that you can use. Then we have big balcony where you can sit with your coffee and enjoy the view over the city.

We have private parking outside for one car. If you planning on taking tours then bus stop number 8 is just few meters away next to the church Hallgrimskirkja.

We have baby crib and high chair for your children.

We provide linen, towels and soap etc.

We manage over 100 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term renting.

Beautiful house and perfect location

Perfect location right in the heart of Reykjavík with a dedicated parking space. The rooms are filled with art and personality. Very comfy. The management sent us a thorough note with everything we needed to know about the apartment and nearby services, dining and entertainment suggestions. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is the hair dryer was missing and we had continuing trouble with the clothes dryer. The manager was occasionally slow to respond and there was a mix up in the invoicing. (Note: they don’t bill through VRBO and we didn’t know to look for a PayPal invoice from an email address we didn’t recognize. This kept us from getting entry info on time — causing a bit of anxiety on arrival.) Despite these temporary irritations, it’s a delightful place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again.

Perfect Reykjavik location

We loved staying at this home in the heart of Reykjavik. It is perfectly centrally located a block from the main church at the top of the hill, and a close walk to restaurants, shopping, a community pool, and not too far from the harbor. The home was spacious, well decorated, cozy, with a well equipped kitchen, laundry, and more. Just one note, it is an easy walk up two flights of stairs. If we return to Reykjavik we will try to stay at this Skólavörðustígur home.

Incredible, unique apartment in the heart of Reykjavik

Our adult family of five stayed for just under a week, and Kjartan's apartment was a phenomenal home away from home in Reykjavik. The location - two blocks from Hallgrimskirkja - was a great central location, putting us a short walk from all the best shopping, tourist sites, and night life. The apartment was furnished with tons of amenities, and two bedrooms plus a loft meant we all had a comfortable place to crash. An included parking spot made it easy to rent a car for day trips without worrying about where to put it overnight. Kjartan's instructions were super clear and they were very responsive to our questions - plus they offered plenty of extra info about the area and tips for making the most of our trip. As a final bonus, the WiFi in the apartment was stable and high-speed, which helped one family member do a little remote work during the week. All in all, it was a tremendous stay in a great spot, and I'd highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a top-notch Reykjavik experience!

Wonderful Apartment in First Class Location

We are a family of four and the apartment was a perfect place to stay during our visit. The property manager was responsive and property was clean and beautiful! Highly recommend!
