Close enough to easily walk to downtown, yet a quiet and peaceful setting to enjoy coffee on the patio while watching the ferry cross Lake Superior from Madeline Island. This unit has a private entrance through the garage. Guests will need to navigate stairs down to the Suite 1 level where they will enjoy a beautiful open floor plan that includes a full kitchen, panoramic views with floor to ceiling windows, one bedroom with queen bed, full bath, and a private patio. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and well furnished. The location couldn’t be any better. A very short walk to downtown, and the view is stunning. Being right be the highway could be a little noisy but being able to sit on the porch and watch the boats come in is worth a little extra noise here and there.

We just were amazed with the views of downtown, the harbor, and the lake. The homes in the neighnorhood were nicely landscaped and the neighbors were friendly. We felt very safe. The living area was a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day. Although the highway was below the home, the noise was not a concern to us even with the windows open. The entire town is built on a hill that slopes towards the lake. We found an alley way on the lake side of the home that made the walk into town and back home a bit easier.
