The house was as described and well stocked with supplies which was nice. It is close to the bike trail which is one of the reasons we choose it.

Mountain House was conveniently located in a private neighborhood next to a small community college. Check-in was nice and simple. The house was clean and equipped with well maintained appliances and amenities. I recommend Mountain House for future travelers and hope to be back next year.

Warm/homey feel - PERFECT SPOT!

The property and host were both AMAZING. The property had a really warm, homey feeling and was very spacious with the open kitchen/living room set up. The extra space on the patio was also nice for breakfast in the morning. The host was very friendly and super communicative. Wondeful trip/experience!

Mountain House

Cozy quarters, close to many amenities and outdoor activities. The soak tub was great after hiking!!

Great location, very walkable.

Stayed here with adult children. Location was ideal as we could easily walk to Mountain Mist and downtown area. Bathroom was recently remodel - very nice. We had plenty of space and the neighborhood was peaceful. I would stay here again.

Eclipse weekend

We had a great time in "Quiet Mountain Home". It was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Many things looked like new. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Our hosts Scott and Nichole did a great job making sure all our needs were met. We were there for the eclipse and Scott made sure to leave us a copy of the local paper so we knew what was going on. The location is about a block from Flower Lake and a mile from downtown Saranac Lake. Lots of free parking in town so driving in is not an issue. WE really enjoyed our stay and the once in a lifetime eclipse.
