I was disappointed in what was described as a luxury villa. It was generally clean but we found it to be quite dated and dark.The pictures were not completely representative of what was in the villa. First, it was very moldy smelling inside.The outdoor table was filthy and chairs on the unswept patio were dirty and rusty. The slider to the patio could useSome WD 40 as it was sticky to open and close.The beach chairs were bent and not easy to move on the arm tracks.Lastly it is not very sound proof as the renters upstairs could be heard whenever they walked across the floors. Also could hear a baby crying in the night several times each night when there.If it wasn’t for the location to the beach I’d give it a one star.

We departed this property the morning of November 6th.This property is not as described on VRBO!Disappointed with this property. Actually disgusted.This property is definitely NOT “Luxury”….. and this property is very dated.Parking area not maintained and stuff just sitting around.Keys were unsecured when we arrived; key box was flopped open and keys just laying there, visible.This property had an unpleasant odor, possibly Febreze, an odor that I cannot tolerate.Some of the furniture was different than the photos and not in a good way. Beds were not comfortable.Please note that all reviews are 2 years old.Tried to open bedroom to “air out” but windows are “terminally” old and corroded and jammed, but finally opened.The property was only partially cleaned.The kitchen was ”sort of” equipped, as long as we could locate kitchen things in the dining room buffet. (toaster, eating utensils, etc.)Thought that we would make the best of things…………UNTIL a LIVE COCKROACH joined us. Where there is one living cockroach, there usually are many more!We tried to contact the “host”, Austin, but received NO REPLY.We packed up and MOVED OUT!Next day---still NO REPLY from Austin!Next day---still NO REPLY. See attached contact attempt.We expect a refund for the nights not occupied by our party.
Live Cock Roach first day. We departed. NO RESOLUTION from VRBO. NO refund, even partial. $1,700+FORDIETED????

Venice stay

It was a great place to stay. The inside is great. The beach chairs offered were terrible, so we bought our own. Easy walk to the beach, easy uber access to other beaches and food.

Comfy apt in a great location with lots of beach supplies.

I stayed for 5 days with my family and it was spacious, clean, and had pretty much all amenities that you'd need. Location was perfect - a one block to Venice Beach and only a few blocks, 10-12 min walk, to Venice Ave shops and restaurants. All the beach supplies that are onsite - chairs, blankets, wagon, umbrellas, and toys - were not expected but was incredibly nice to have on hand, especially with with a toddler. The rooms were spacious and comfy. The king mattress wasn't my favorite - too soft for me with indentations where people have slept. It took me a couple nights to find my comfort spot. Also, no shampoo or soap in the showers or bathrooms sinks. Not a big deal really but we had to go out and buy our own. For me, vacation in FL is about being outside and close to the beach and this place was perfect for that. Highly recommended.

Good and bad.

Comfortable bed. Living area furniture uncomfortable. Need grab bars in showers for older guests. Need to update cookware. Great location. Lovely private patio. Loved having washer and dryer. Lovely dining area. Loved being in covered parking and on ground level.

Convenient to beach and shops

This place is in a nice neighborhood, but the unit itself isn't terribly scenic. Doesn't matter because inside is nice and it's close to shops and restaurants. Very close to the beach and the most beautifulsu sets. Has covered parking which is nice shade for hot summers.

Awesome location

One block away from the beach!!!! Had a minor issue with the property, called the property Manager , very friendly , and she took care of the situation immediately. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and fun events. Excellent visit!!!

This was an excellent location for our stay during the Shark Tooth Festival. Easy walk to the event at Centennial Park as well as to the beach.

Close to the beach

Great location, short walk to beach and maybe 15 minutes walk to the restaurant and shopping strip in Venice. The place was, comfortable, clean and relatively spacious, the owner and property manager were helpful, and the price was good. But it’s a “no frills” unit, in a lot beautiful building. If you’re looking for a gorgeous or pretty place, this isn’t for you. If you want a clean and affordable place a short walk to the beach, this is it.
