The cabin was super quaint and cozy but fit our family of four. The upstairs loft with two twin beds appeared new as there wasn’t any flooring down but is a nice addition. The bedroom with the queen bed was comfy. We brought all our own linemen and towels. The double bed was quite hard but our teenager survived on it. I will say, don’t expect much privacy. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything between them. It was okay as we were with the kids and they were quiet but not sure how it would be if traveling with other adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The exhaust vent and light above the stove didn’t work so it got very steamy when cooking. The large kitchen table with the benches was great for meals and playing games. The fireplace was amazing and there was a starter log for us to use upon arrival and the local store had more. Tons of dry firewood too. We used the gas grill after cleaning out a critter nest. Critters will find any dry spot but cleaned it and burned it off, covered in foil and worked great. The kitchen had new grill utensils too. The unit does need a new DVD player. We tried to watch movies twice and both times about an hour in, it started jumping and making a weird noise. Since it was New Years Eve, we had rented several. Not sure the other was aware prior to our trip. The location is great. 10 minutes to Seven Springs resort where we tubed, skied, Bowled and ate. About 40 minutes to the Flight 93 Memorial and despite the visitor center being closed due to the government shut down, we were about to visit the memorial. A must do.
