This very comfortable apartment is ideally situated in Lyon for our 4 week stay. Easy to walk to Vieux Lyon, shopping, wonderful restaurants. Also easy public transportation with bus and subway. The owner Laurent was also great to work with.

Schönes, modern eingerichtetes Apartment

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und sehr zentral gelegen. Alles ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter klappte einwandfrei. Gerne wieder!

Fantastic place

This apartment is in a perfect location, right in the middle of everything. There are bus stops on both streets although you can easily walk to the old city attractions and both riverfronts. The place is very large and has a completely equipped kitchen plus laundry. It's very quiet with the windows closed even though it's on a busy street. The living room is enormous, with hardwood floors, a comfy couch, large TV, and a piano. There is no air conditioning and it's far too loud outside to have the windows open at night. There are two fans provided, but if it's hot when you're there it will get stuffy at night. Laurent is very nice and helpful. We are glad we stayed here.

Location, Location, Locarion.

This was my third flat in Lyon in 50 days, and by far the best. This flat is in the perfect location to see the city. Four Super Marches within one block, restaurants and Lyon night life. The flat is spacious, clean and neat, it’s not full of the “owners belongings” it’s comfortable and accommodating, the owner was very hospitable. I have but two regrets, 1) I wish I would have stayed here the whole time, 2) this place really deserves 6 stars. Thank you Laurent Josh

Ideale Wohnung für einen Stadtaufenthalt

Sympathischer Vermieter überlässt eine Wohnung in einwandfreiem Zustand. Drei Fußminuten bis zur zentralen Place des Terreaux ermöglichen einen Stadtaufenthalt zu Fuß und mit sehr gut funktionierendem öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, muss sich um ein Parkhaus in der Nähe kümmern. Eine ausführliche Dokumentation des Vermieters zu öffentlichen Einrichtungen und Geschäften der vielseitigsten Art ist sehr hilfreich.

Loved this place. Laurent was a great host and made the trip so smooth. Location is fantastic. Very convenient to transit but so much is walkable from there we found it just as good to walk most times.

Spacious and great location

We spent 3 days in Lyon and were very happy with our accommodations. The apartment is large, spacious and clean. Laurent has clear and detailed instructions for everything. His book of stores, restaurantss and everything else you might want information about is superb. The location was perfect for walking, buses and metro. A wonderful choice.

Terrific Apartment

Laurent's apartment was pivotal to our fully enjoyable stay in Lyon. Functionally, it had all one could want: plenty of comfy seating in a bright, spacious living room, large dining table, very well equipped kitchen, a bedroom with tons of storage, and very large, bright bathroom with a Miele washer that dries too! What is Europe coming to? Seems like all prior guests praised Laurent's Lyon reference book, and it merits the praise, incredibly thorough and helpful. Equally important to all of the above is its perfect location. Easy walking to many of Lyon's significant attractions. All public transport readily reached . All set in a neighborhood of vibrant charm and character.

Sumptuous apartment in a spectacular location

The apartment is tastefully decorated and all appliances are of the highest quality. Laurent has gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure his guests experience all the delights that Lyon has to offer by providing a wealth of information. Within walking distance of the city's finest shopping and cultural attractions, we could not recommend the apartment and it's host more highly.

Lovely apartment in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay in Lyon in this apartment. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. Just a couple of hundred metres from the Hotel de Ville, Art Gallery and Opera House to the east and the old town across the river to the west. Easy access to Lyon's superb transport system to get anywhere further away. The apartment was in a busy area but quiet enough when the windows were shut. It was also spacious, comfortable and very well equipped.

Spacious and comfortable!

The apartment was exactly as described, and very comfortable. We thought it was a great location for what we wanted for our brief visit. The big windows in the living area made it feel open and bright, and when closed, keep out the noise from the street below (and the bedroom is in the back). However the best part was probably our host, who was very accommodating and helpful (he has put together a wonderful, detailed guide to the area. Restaurants and markets were nearby, and it was short walk across the river to the old town area of Lyon. If we have a chance to return to Lyon, it would definitely be our choice for the place to stay.

I have myself rented many furnished apartments and – through that experience - have arrived at what guarantees an enjoyable stay: a warm and friendly atmosphere; a large main room which gives a real feeling of space; a centrally situated apartment to enjoy the city without necessarily having to take public transport; a good bed; good Wi-Fi connection; and a thousand little details which make all the difference - large wardrobes for storage, a full-length mirror, a reading lamp near the couch, a desk separate from the table for meals, a well equipped kitchen (for lovers of cooking), quality crockery good enough to invite friends, blackout curtains in the bed room.
These are the criteria I have used in equipping this apartment. I live nearby and can be called upon to provide help and advice if this is needed.

J’ai moi-même loué beaucoup d’appartements meublés, j’ai ainsi pu identifier ce qui garantissait un séjour réussi : un cadre agréable et chaleureux, une grande pièce principale qui donne une véritable sensation d’espace, un appartement très central pour profiter de la ville sans avoir forcément à prendre les transports en commun, un lit de qualité, une bonne connexion Wifi et mille petits détails qui font la différence comme de grands placards pour ranger les affaires, un miroir plein pied, une lampe près du canapé pour lire facilement, un bureau séparé de la table sur laquelle les repas sont pris, une cuisine très bien équipée (pour les amoureux de la cuisine), de la vaisselle de qualité si je souhaite inviter des amis.
C’est selon ces critères que j’ai équipé cet appartement. J’habite en plus au même étage, je pourrai si besoin facilement apporter mon aide.
